If you're trying to make a startbar with Objectbar, good luck to you! You have to start it in SkinStudio (a proggie that I find VERY confusing), and then when you go to Objectbar, it's not going to let you use the file name you saved in SkinStudio. btw......if anyone know of a tutorial that actually explains the ENTIRE process, I love to know about it.

I suggested the sticky thread for the "How do I" threads a while back, I even emailed the janitor about it...... but I was ignored. I guess it's better to have the board cluttered with redundant threads.

Sounds like fun, if we can agree to a date and location...........not too soon...I have too many irons in the fire right now. In a couple of months maybe? When it cools off below 90...

I use PowWeb.......but you really need to read a bit more carefully........25GB\month transfer, not 250GB. I've been pleased with the service. The only downtime I've experienced in over a year was for scheduled maintenance. Yes, they are for real!

They're working on it.........until they've fixed that little problem with the bar on the left in folder, you can open the WB config, and under Settings uncheck Use Window XP style explorer bars. The bar is still there, but uses the color scheme of the skin in use. I'm not sure this will work with the wizard......... I turned all that stuff soon after installing XP. And to answer your question.........YES! XP needs skinning.

Be patient, it will fall into place. Start taking existing themes and skins apart...........study the images and what does what. Open .ini files with your text editor, and check them out. It may take a while before the light bulb comes on, but if you really want to be a skinner, it will happen. And remember it's much easier to answer a specific question, than a general how do I make skins question. Go
