Performance is definitely better, the balance changes have noticably affected the pace of the game, AI is a bit better from what I've seen, diplomacy still needs work, and I LOVE the 4 tiles between cities change. The biggest thing to note is that the patch is getting a lot of positive feedback on the 2kGames forum. If people are saying positive things on a Civ V forum its probably a good sign ;) Is the game perfect or will it ever be? No. But this shows that they are working on it an

Half of the fun of this game is working hard to get better at it. When you take that away and cheat your way to a high ranking there's honestly no point in even logging on. Might as well just play through the campaign on casual and throw the game in the trash with that kind of approach.

Yeah im fine with waiting for the FE demo to come along before I try to get some friends into it. War of Magic has been and continues to be an interesting ride but I really think Fallen Enchantress is where its all going to take off. Take your time with FE boys, but keep a demo in mind, it would give us all a good vehicle for spreading the word about the Elemental series.

I'm FINALLY silver in SCII! Was 1st bronze for weeks and just shot up to 1st silver. Went on a hotstreak this morning and even beat a few gold players.
