Alright, thanks.

The title pretty much sums it up. Which ship is a better basis for an Advent fleet, generally speaking? I usually will try to get Transies with meteor storm up pretty quickly, and on the way research Destras, then use those as the basis of my fleet. Is this a good strategy. (And no, I don't just spam Destras with no support) On the other hand I'm seeing a lot on the forums lately about using Aeria Dronehosts in Advent fleets, not so much about Destras...
Agreed about the AI not being as effective on multi-star maps... for one thing they don't seem to expand past their home system for quite a while. I played a 5 star map against hards recently. Until 4 hours into the game they wouldn't even try to colonize anything in the three unoccupied systems.
So when is a good time to research Destras? Mid-game?
Okay, thanks.
They'll charge out of the range of SR and SP to attack targets sometimes, but thanks for the info (I assume it's a small problem). Is it possible, as I read somewhere, probably on this forum, to "tank starbases with Destras in a battleball? I mean, clearly you wouldn't do this with a starbase with Safety Override Protocol or Meteor Control. Just curious.
I am wondering what uses the Crusader has. It seems a little difficult to incorporate into a battleball. Any tips on how to do this or use the Crusader?
Healing starbases in neutral gravwells is something I use them for in SP... can't imagine it would work in multiplayer.
Vacuum Collapse. Look it up.
Okay, thanks.
I've been playing Sins for a few months and picked up Entrenchment a month ago. I recently noticed that the Debris Vortex ability doesn't seem to upgrade at the second level. Is it bugged or am I just reading it wrong?
