I previously put up a post with my reasons against AI Transcendance and i proposed that instead of them winning they should get a bonus to show how advanced they are. I have since continued reading posts and have come up with some more thoughts on the issue. First i have an additional gripe which requires comparing the victory conditions (which may or may not be a valid comparison in your oppinion, but bear with me). For military and cultural victories (consider alliance tied in with mi

I am strongly opposed to allowing the AI to win through technological victory. I would find this to be extremely annoying, especiallly since i tend to be a bit behind the curve in technology (i play on Crippling Difficulty). Even the option to have a countdown i find inadaquate, despite the theoretical notion that it could prompt me to action. Often, By the end of my games, the only computer players left are all allied together and though i could perhaps take care of the single race at
About the United Planets Issues: It would be nice if issues came up at a relevant time. for example, it seems odd that there is a vote to ban terror stars decades before they are even invented (no one would have voted to ban an atomic bomb, at least not by name, in the 1800's). Ideally i would like to be able to bring up issues myself but, as i realize this would likely require a large overhaul, i dont see it as being a necessity. ~SDC~
I started a new game on a large map and immediately saved and quit. On reloading the game i did ctrl-n to regenerate the map. The new map was a tiny map and in the monthly report it said merely "The" when referring to my civilization. I reloaded and got the same error. I then tried playing a few turns and regenerating but still got the error. Nicholas Tower ~SDC~
In the Govorner Social Que (which i otherwise think is great and use all the time) I find it very annoying that i can pull up the statistics of what each improvement does. I have to either go from memory or switch out to a view of a planet and find out what it does there and go back. Similarly, on the tech tree it will show what technologies follow after the current one. However, i would like to be able to click on those future techs and find info on what ALL their prereqs are (since i
