that's why they move to cloud subscription. to make it easier to lose data XD

..... but that means they'll need to fire the president too. so what does that make the president? 2 posts of President E(xecutive) and President C(onstitutional) for laughs? XD
not sure how monarchy v republic is relevant. seeing as i seriously doubt anyone would advocate a monarchy with power that a us president would have. if the us president is mostly ceremonial much like the constitutional monarchs in europe, then it doesn't really make much difference whether it's a monarchy or republic.. thus i suspect the more apt question would be on the power of the president. us style with actual power or more ceremonial figurehead.</
... theoretically, steam can be used to update your drivers to the latest version anyway.... there's also the simplest fact that if d/ling things (usage allowance) isn't a problem, just go ahead and periodically d/l the latest driver and install it. it either updates to the newest or it doesn't if you have the latest one already. i would also imagine there's some sort of "check for updates" thing in your existing nvidia control pan
um.. i think you can manually transfer your games to your steam folder in the new machine to have less to d/l?
the fixit only works for 32 bit ie. and it won't show up in the autoupdate either, like all the other fixits. the problem isn't so much whether you use alternative browser rather than ie, but that some programs just likes to call IE instead of your default browser. (some old .net thing i think) i've got emet 4 from a while back. not sure if it's properly configured or not.. XD but at least it's pre-configured for ie. which is one of the worka
... heard of... google account? they could always shift everything server side.
.. they are just not patching the bugs enough. probably because it's console as well as pc...
tomshardware keeps a quickie chart.. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-7.html i think the main problem with games from that company is usually cpu rather than gpu... not enough power and you fly into rocks whilst on seta (or whatever fast forward is called, that said.. they've killed fast forward in rebirth) XD
workless lifestyle.. sounds like star trek. without the unlimited power/resource bit. thing about population control.. is that... no one can tell whether it's working. studies have stated that pop growth would have fallen as a society techs up anyway. i remember family planning adverts decades back in hong kong - 2 kids are enough (obviously there were no penalties in law for more kids.. just a question of whether you can afford it).. nowadays, they are sayi
should be automatic? just run the game again?
sure.. and that chris taylor game. was thinking/reading into the other end... stardock as a dev getting into trouble with a publisher (which is why it can't happen... anymore.. since they've been publishing their own stuff for years after getting stiffed) as opposed to stardock as a publisher getting tangled up with a dev they are publishing.
.... stardock is the publisher of the stuff it develops ... so you are looking at some weird fight between brad and derek.. for that to happen
iffy basically. you are chucking money at them to make milestones with absolutely no guarantee of there ever being a full product.
well there we go for brad and the 64bit migration.
well.. obviously they expect you to be sitting in one of them google cars and not actually doing the driving.
the online version is a bit like III...(don't think there's an english version of that) people also like to do dungeons for xp/money... or at least they did when i last played it months back.
... just remember... time zone.
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/05/10/oh_no_its_the_plastic_3d_gun/ ...apparently 3d printers are only good for iterating/prototyping. for now. can't really foresee how it can replace mass manufacturing, not for a long time. it's always cheaper to get low tech things done with cheap labour. ---- you take the bear arms and we take the bear
all the rubbish being sprouted about windows blue in mainstream media. almost sounds as if they'll be selling a new OS, as opposed to just slapping on an update. bit like win95 fe and win95 se. hope not. that'll be stupid.
[quote who="Jafo" reply="17" id="3354707"] Quoting alaknebs, reply 6nukes are all fairly immaterial. by nature they are defensive weapons, those who use it 1st are dead meat. That's rubbish. They have been 'used' twice...both times as offensive weapons [defensive weapons is largely an oxymoron, anyway]...and the 1st to use them are alive and well....just killing each other one bullet at a time.... ....oh, yes....with their defensive weapons.
... or not and people are just reading too much into a load of text.
..fairly straight forward, you think... use both. eg.. i use ff normally with noscript and all. that doesn't work with certain googledocs.. so.. i use chrome for that
ie8? i read somewhere some uk gov site requires ie 6 and no higher... or some such
