so... um... does that mean the amd kavari would be a better bet?
alaknebs
no offence.. but can anyone imagine him working on both his own game in a small team environment. and then get lumped with a big budget title.... rts no less? has he done rts before? for that matter, why would stardock fund 2 bids?
they'll outsource it for a few years and then panic XD --- and... jon shafer?? that's one strange guess. doesn't he have enough on his plate as it is?
wait.... if someone bid 800k 1st round..... and the 2nd place @400k drops out.. eh... why was there another round for the 800k to go to 1 mil+ whilst SD remains 2nd place?! if cataclysm isn't part of that bundle.. who owns it?
i meant... sneaky that not even a hint in here that frogboy was going to bid for it. (i think.... )
sneaky. not even a hint? (from brad that is) ... forgot i replied already.. too many tabs without refresh
honestly... lots of headlines about teampixel outbidded by mystery bidder. eh.. no. they were outbid by just about everyone and dog (assuming they weren't at the bottom).
someone mentioned landbridge... so.. what happens to all your improvements, units, etc?
"the client will be drm free." really? you don't say. subscription based mmo. so there isn't really any point of sticking additional drm on top, is there.
could someone explain to me why when i blow 30 mana in the strategic layer to summon a shadow warg... it stays after a battle.. gaining xp. whereas blowing 30 mana in the tactical layer to summon the same shadow warg.. it disappears after the battle (doesn't even appear in the battle report) surely it should be more consistent.... ie.. tactical layer summons persist. or lower cost if it doesn't persist?
there's a steam update today.. does it help? <span style="color: #ffffff; font-family: Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: -webkit-auto; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: #242322; display: inlin
nationalism is such a misused cliche. take your average person in hong kong. born and bred under british rule for all those decades, so you can't say they were brain washed by the commies. yet the sentiments over those islands or japan's past are basically the same, if not more vocal and visible. (note... as in they can march and protest and what fairly much at will, rather than having someone turning on the tap) difference is that they are not a bunch of morons going around bashing u
i d/l my flash from http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ as opposed to the flash update message that bounced up when the machine booted up and said there's an update... and then took me to some adobe site.
... no point getting laptops if you ain't carrying it around.
whilst i do use libre office.. (eh.. that is.. the few odd times i do use any office stuff.. ) they are still rather limited in the autoupdate part. having to d/l the whole package every time there's an update quite simply means can't be bothered with updates. that said. i only use it for basic word processing if i do need to use it.. so that's not too big a deal.
They’ll figure a way to disable Office 2013, or a way to track it. How?[/q
this is now live.. odd timing... what with the reports about those firings today XD
1 thing i don't get...... why would ms have anything to do with the pricing of a product from another company?? (if the original story was true.. as opposed to snafu at the store)
there's another one today. 11.6.602.168... where i had to actually go and d/l.... must have misremembered about not d/ling the previous one... odd stuff... (either that.. or sub.sub versions 11.x.x are auto and sub versions 11.x aren't) --- pretty stupid to have to d/l both plugin and activex versions...
i see he purposely skipped wom.. XD
Good on him! I wish I had thought of that!
never too late... just have to find something else XD
very odd.. don't remember updating flash lately... and it's on the latest version already? must be some sort of silent update
it does depend on what you mean by rts, doesn't it. if you are aping being a so called REMF that does the strategic stuff, then you would think the ranks below would know how to think and act on its own initiative. hey.. you are getting bombed (air or artil).. scatter and do something about the source without being told to do so. you got that supergun. hey.. use it regularly instead of getting destroyed whilst using a pea shooter obviously. it would get to a point wh
To get back on topic, this game reminds me a lot of Genghis Khan II by Koei, one of my favorite games of all time. In that game, you had to fight off the other warlords and become the leader of Mongolia before you could move on to attack the rest of Europe and Asia. At the Gates looks like it has a similar theme. Wonder if those older Koei game have any influence on this one? I'm going to follow the development and wi
that would be bad, because it doesn't act to weed out crap stuff. thus killing the idea that it stops dev making crap even if there's no market for it
if it's 50k i don't see why gog can't pay that themselves. and then stick it on steam even!
