i started a game in .85 and am a bit wary of updating to .86 as i was expecting .87 to pop up soon after heavenfall's report on some dodgy tag (no idea what it does...) and other crash bits. should i expect .87 soon? can't really make a judgement based on a few turns of .85

not sure why it says "show kingdom info" when the faction is clearly empire. similarly, why use "kingdom report" must be a better word around somewhere if you use kingdom/empire with specific meanings...

bandit lord "Player stars with 2 Bandit units" obviously meant starts.. though stars could work... XD --- warlock "this units spells do 50% more damage" unit's ---- general "+3 to armies Accuracy" presumably armies' accuracy (or is it army's? depends on whether it's meant to be singular/plural) ---- warlord "sovereign gets 10% of all champions xp" champions' xp</

normally, when you move over each strength/weakness, you get the tool tip dynamically changed to the corresponding one that your mouse is over. however, when you have actually ticked/unticked an entry, the tool tip will stop changing and be frozen at the one you picked. it returns to normal if you change between empire/kingdom or if you pick a different base race, or if you pick a different tab

depends on what you mean by removing imbuement. backstory is that there's a bunch of magic users called channellers who get to be bosses... eh.. sovs. if any old dog can cast spells.. what's the difference between channellers and them? (what make sovs special?) i imagine not every hero (eh.. champ) can cast spells once imbue is removed?
3. The tactical AI is starting to get some love. I'm awaiting an API that will let the AI look at upcoming spells (like fireballs) that are in the queue so it can counter spell it.
eh.. how does a player tell when ai is casting or going to cast a spell? perhaps tactical spells should all have a casting period rather than instant cast?

obviously, he didn't know there's a fighting game series that does pretty much the same thing already..... some japanese thingy in ps1 (Bushido Blade 1, 2) pick a samurai or some such, pick a weapon and bash away at each other... with various stances. apparently something from the same dev called Kengo .. though not sure if it does the same thing

..if you look at the tech called wildland allies in the lore help thingy, it says trolls for kingdom and ogres for empire. except there's no such skill for kingdom (in the ones i peeked at) or put another way. there's no point having lairs if no one ever gets to build on them.
