the flash auto-patching is weird. eg.. default browser is firefox.. so it updates flash for "other browsers" only and didn't update the activex one at the same time. .... why? just like java autoupdate is borked if you have both 32bit and 64 bit installed.

some of the games with online contents sound as though no one will be playing them online down the line. so you might get them cheap. but you might be missing out on the mp portion. depends on how much you care about mp i guess?

some dev just don't like ie for standards issue. they won't go out of their way to support ie in that they won't fix things if it's down to ie doing things differently.

if it's small, it's small. glasses doesn't help any (i'm wearing glasses anyway) ... magnifying glasses might help though... yes.. a bigger screen will help if you sit a metre away from the screen

.. hey.. i use 1280x800 on my screen. default res of 1680x1050 just have the text look too small, especially when the screen is a fair bit away from my face by default. (22" screen?)
