The long hidden tower of Pariden. I am supposed to look into the temple for pieces of the crown. When my champion lands on the tower we see a dialog with pariden but the only option is "sorry I am still looking for your pieces" Do you want a upload of the saved game?

Wow the game has come a long way since I last had a go. I love the crafting and enchanting - although it wasn't enough to save my bacon. I got my ass handed to me by a roving army that hounded me back to the castle. Time to try again
After playing around with windows 10 preview i am quite liking the new look
i will reserve judgement until I can see them in context.
I have just, this minute, finished Wasteland 2. 35 hours apparently. Loved it and would give it 9/10 I especially enjoyed seeing how my actions influenced the world. The epilogue of places and characters and how they were affected by my actions was very cool.
Australia has slipped to 44th in world rankings. Even NZ is higher up at 42 - hehe. In Auckland I have unlimited bandwidth but I do pay NZ$99 which is about US$77. BUt that includes landline and VDSL (a name they use to describe a tech that is faster than ADSL)
Watched the first two episodes and was very impressed. It felt more like watching a well paced movie than a typical TV series. It took a lot of inspiration from the movie of the same name but it hasn't tried to remake the movie which I feel is a good step. Very keen to see how this series develops but so far so good.
Thanks Frogboy I enjoyed reading your article. That was very clear and concise.
Not a fan of unlocks. If I want to play with certain character why should I be made to slog through winning with others in order to unlock that character.?
@jafo - now that i would be interested in - link?
you can set it to always boot to desktop. Simply rigt click on taskbar and it is an option in there.
sounds good for $20 it is worth a punt

@ Illauna who said I wasn't enjoying it? to quote "I have had (still having) fun with AOW3". Both games are fantasy but they are quite different games. LH just appeals to me more, by a long shot. AOW3 tactical side could be improved heaps. Allow us to put down the army, or at least rearrange. Allow the player to use m
I have had (still having) fun with AOW3 but it is nothing like FE. I have put 400+ hours into the various flavours of elemental, I will be lucky to clock up 50 on AOW3. Having said that I see AOW3 more like a successor to the original Warlords. Conquer city's or convince independents to join, build army and smash the opponent. I hardly ever bother with the tactical gameplay, usually selecting auto-result. The recent big patch did help but I am hoping they can improve the game more in the
@ Heavenfall that was a bit uncalled for. I don't see how that is shitty and I certainly don't require your unsolicited opinion and personal attack.Very childish. I still stick to my comments that the game is a mess as far as the UI goes. The graphics are shoddy and all in all the game is not intuitive.
Ok, after reading about how excited people are about endless dungeon I decided to watch someone else play on youtube. I have just had my first proper go - I am pleased to say - I agree it is quite cool. I still don't like the graphics ;)
Well it is quite possibly me but I found Dungeon of the Endless confusing and completely uninteresting to play. As far as I could work out you don't actually have full control over the characters. The graphics are so bad that you can't work out what is what. This retro-crap is starting to get annoying. For years we had to endure shitty graphics because there was no alternative, now it is hip to go back to blocky graphics? Bizarre. I have tried endless legend a f
I think it is a big ask to go from zero programming experience to writing a RTS. An easier approach would be to use a game engine like Construct 2 which makes many complicated programming requirements very simple - e.g., path algorithms and shooting etc. It even includes a basic 2d RTS sample in the package - there is a free version of C2 to have a look at. https://www.scirra.com/
the tech tree is dull - it is always the same and inevitably you make the same or at least similar choices in every game.
Downloading now, 10 minutes to go. And to top it off I am sick with stomach bug, no really. I feel like shit but I will soldier on...
I was like, Meh! How could this be any good? Ok I am convinced that looks friggen awesome. I love finding out about these kickstarter projects - so much creativity without the spectre of corporate bureaucracy in your face.
More 4x games. - full stop
I miss the dynasty aspect. However, to be honest, I have difficulty differentiating the three games. I see them all as one game that has gone though some upgrades. The facts that visually they are hard to distinguish doesn't help and many of the differences in game play are reasonable subtle or at least not glaring. I would love to see more games like that but then I would expect them to be significantly different from what has come before. So I vote yes I wou
