That link was just what I needed, EventHorizon. Thank you, Xerraire. I'll look into those Yahoo groups and get some perspective from your artwork. Thanks again, guys.

Bwahahahaha! I got a 43. Though it didn't describe me that well...Thanks, Fuzzy Logic. I also liked those fireworks a lot!
Speaking of which...I have looked for a site that sells Bryce 5, and have yet to find one...Do you know a retailer?
Thanks EventHorizon. Talk about frank appraisal. But that's what I wanted. I will indeed look at those tutorials. About the JPEG quality...I know how it works, I use PSP. I used a high compression ratio (I know it looks ugly) becuase I have a "molasses-modem". Thank you again for your help.
Sorry for the mix up guys...I'm getting used to it. THIS image should work. What do you think?
No wait...You're going to see a red X. How do you upload an image?
Hey everyone...Terragen is the most wonderful program in the world not developed by Stardock. If the druids had this, they wouldn't have needed to build this "Stonehenge". Anyway, attached here is my first decently rendered image. It's called Ancient Mars. Yeah, stupid name. Now, I want to know what you think. Comments, criticism, all of it, tell me! Would you use it? Because this is my first piece, please
Digital Feng Shui. I see a television show...
Since ObjectDock doesn't let you browse outside of its own directory structure, better extract the icons you want to use there too.
I consistently follow Longhorn development, and Avalon/Aero are going to be superb. Paul Thurott, who runs WinSuperSite.com, has loads of up-to-date stuff about Longhorn, and some excellent Aero screens. The thing I am most amazed about is that in Paul's article, he said that during a conference an MS exec loaded 3 separate windows of a Star Wars triailer and spun them around simultaneously, and the CPU monitor didn't even notice. That kind of power is going to be incredible for the further adva
Stupidity Alert!!! Stupidity Alert!!! <TA
Stupidity Alert!!! Sorry guys, shoulda noticed that. Thanks, KarmaGirl. Slap. Ow! Ow! Say, I don't think Quote works in Firebird...
Hmm, IPlural, yrag, and I.R. Brainiac.
Slap! Ow, Mr. Spellchecker Jafo. So, how do you quote?
Chocolate, hands down. Especially dark chocolate. Mmmm... Rocky Road ice cream rules!
No, I think it's a great idea. The hard part is getting Mormegil or essorant to do it for us.
Stupid nonexistant spellchecker...that's "thought". Jafo, how do you quote? I do not know. Yes, I am "quote-dysfunctional." It's a new syndrome, sort of like being fatally allergic to air that contains oxygen.
Jafo, you have a knack for acronyms...Next time I need one, I'll know where to look. I thougt ADD meant Aerial Detonation Device. Saddam must still live...
China, maybe we should have Kona alias UzEE do that... Just kidding. No offense Kona. Have you ever tried making DX objects? It is as easy as typing threads, which you are good at. If you uploaded some skins, KarmaGirl might take it as what we call "effort" and give you a Nobel prize. Peoples, this is a family site, let's kill the accusations and have some fun. I think a law should be passed tha
I agree, Shmoopy. Unfortunately, I am now a mindless robot whose those dwell on nothing but skinning, even when I'm supposed to be paying attention in classes. SkinStudio is VERY easy to use (thanks Stardock), but Sir Hus is right...The hard part is making the graphics. There are just so many...Aaargh. I'm trying to figure out PSP, and after I figure out how to insert text I'll do an icon. Of a black box. That says "My Computer". Oh, celebrate the rise of customization. <img src="http://images.
Powerdesk? Is that an Explorer replacement? Yeah, IconPackager would be a suitable program...I can see it now - a little tab saying Explorer Toolbar...
The Python episode with Cleese in the cheese shop was one of the better sketches..."If you don't have any cheese, I am going to shoot you through the head."
Yeah, a big lawsuit could develop if it was impossible to turn off...Again. Consumers may not know how to express their views. Too bad really, this is a controversial subject. Sort of like a double-edged sword; it could help legitimate stuff distribute safer, but undoubtedly there will be big name companies using exploits to control what you do... <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/index
You know, I have the same problem. I have an Athlon 2700, 1GB of Corsair DDR400, and a RADEON 9500 Pro. Using latest drivers, Catalyst 3.7. XP Pro. Yes, I have gone into Perf Options in WFX, clicked Enable Support, rebooted, and I saw no change. Any advice? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" bor
Naradak, even if this is a bit unorthodox, you can use a program called Resource Hacker (just Google it) to change a DLL or and EXE's icon. It can do other stuff too...
