I don't understand the concern over FPS. This isn't a first person shooter. I get 3-5 FPS late game which I will say is too sluggish, but 15 seems very playable to me. In my opinion saying 15 FPS is unplayable is an exaggeration. Maybe other things are going on that are making it unplayable for you?

I'm seeing the same thing in late game large maps. Slowing down significantly as well. For me the crashing seemed to increase when the AI and I were taking a resource back and forth. IE I was rebuilding while he was destroying it.

Am I missing dispel magic? How do I dispel enchantments against my city? While I'm at it, is there a way to dispel troop buffs? Not that it is a big deal, but I'm curious if I can get rid of my opponents' obscure fog or whatever he casts to try and hide his troops. Thanks!

I haven't used mages yet, but I know archers show up. I did have a problem with a champion called Bannon Heighsley, though. He never showed up in a city battle. Probably drunk in the tavern. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]

It's such a little thing, but I think it would make it easier for us who save often. When we choose to save game, could we please have the focus automatically be in the line where we type the name of the save game? Also, could we also have it so that we can just press enter when finished typing the file name instead of having to click save? I know minor, but it seems I have to go from mouse to keyboard back to mouse too much while saving a game.

Can't build Academy of Revelation. It's in the build list, and I can click on it, but when I select it and click build, nothing happens. I tried it in several cities, and after reloading a game.

You have the same line at the end of the debug err that I do. "Debug Message: Could not find tech category with name Unique" There have been several reports of this. It appears to happen after the arena or any other encounter where you fight multiple opponents in succession. It also may or may not be caused by getting legendary equipment. I'm leaning toward the latter because the the debug message above.

Double check you are really logged in. I used shift-tab to bring up the Impulse screen from the game splash screen. The already filled out login name was my email address which didn't work. I replaced with my forum login, and it worked.

Have you tried zooming in and then zooming out. I have some times loaded to a map with no cities and units and zooming brings it back. I hope that's it.

I agree. Every time the build screen is up, I want to know where my population is, so I know if I need to build a hut or not. I end up closing the screen only to reopen it after I click on resources to see what I need.

Not just 64bit OS. I'm running 32bit WinXP, and I'm crashing at turn 648.

WinXP SP3, 4gig RAM, GeForce 9600GT Started game with 1.07 and game has been crashing at turn 648 every time since Saturday. Tried going back several turns and not building or training anything.
