Okay, switched to Google Chrome, and here is the replay: http://www.jeeplays.com/replay/details/1/12 All matches played, so the tourney results should be updated and the tourney itself closed. Currently, it still has a 'running' status.

I am the absolute worst with Sedna, yet according to stats she is one of my best demigods for some reason. See? That's just humiliating, LO. These stats make fun of you! I wonder, though, how can you be bad with Sed, if you are good with QoT? Ah, sure, she can summon no Shamblers! ;)

I don't think it was a serious question :) But if I'd have to answer it in all seriousness, I'd say generals, as a group, are much better balanced than assassins (strictly speaking, a quality gap between Oak and QoT is non-existent compared to that between UB and Reg). They have a stronger average, but top assassin is undeniably the most powerful DG by a long shot, so it's still kind of a draw. Actually, I think point-based DG picks

I give up. Was trying to upload the freaking replay to JeePlays for an hour. It keeps saying: 'Please enter team and member info'. I've entered the $%$#%#ing info seven hundred times, I swear, but it just clears all the fields and forces me to begin the whole process anew. Please help! I already want to lose next time, so the poor winner would have this headache.

Okay, the super-losers final is finally played. We won. I know I should upload the replay to JeeSports somehow, but I failed to do so [e digicons][/e] That's a link: http://www.gamereplays.org/demigod/replays.php?game=51&show=details&id=188813 A short commentary: Dark and Ins went a daring double QoT combo. I know what they were

Hey bro, install the UI mods, and also hit the ~ key a couple more times so you can see the health bar for your teammates [e digicons]:)[/e] You just cannot see it during the replays, Jon. I'm mostly a Sed/QoT player, so naturally, I cannot live without the UI ally health mod.

You'd kill Reg faster if you had shamblers. [e digicons];)[/e] Seriously now: your build and some experiments made me re-think the 'no early Shamblers' approach a bit. They do add a lot of dps, especially early on AND after you max out GS. I still prefer to invest my skill points as scarcely as possible, if playing a long evenly skilled game (where Tribute would make a bigger impact than any other skill in this game, so I'd like to tech it

Well, they assume we will retreat, the bastards. But we are no pussies! My QoT is more ballsy than Zen's UB, in fact*. <s

A hilarious duel from one of the recent games (we lost the match miserably). Please note how everyone else has more important things to do :) Jakins simply teleports out at the very start of the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDaunA_GeAA

i add replay here, when i played /sedna/ with HaKa3aTeJIb37rus /torch/ vs Petrodol82 /torch/ and foxtrot11 /rook/. For the folks that possibly ready up some nasty comments about the skill of Hak, Petrodol, and foxtrot -- supress the urge, please. Nastyblade is just democratic :) He plays with everyone, from n00bz to highly skilled pros. And foxtrot has a sky-high 81%, so I assume Nasty was treating that game as pro+noob vs pro+noob, u

Yeah. Darkliath + Insidious is a team for next tourney. Yes, yes, it's all very interesting, but when are you going to play that god-forsaken 2v2 match from the 1st practice tourney vs me and nnnils, eh? Are you 'dodging us' (c) Pacov? I'm sure you are! [e digicons]:D[/e]

First things first. Nastyblade is a highly skilled Reg/Sed from Gameranger. He has ~300 games here, but I'm sure whoever has seen him in action, remembers his unique playstyle. Since he's Czech-speaking, I don't think he can present his build himself, so I'll be his self-appointed promoter :) Anyway, I'll analyze his build and the rationale behind it, and provide a link to a replay of the match I've played against him today. I believe this match showcases hi

Well typically you either use it to secure a kill, in coordination with your teammate's stuns (chain stun), help teammates catch up etc. Also in a non laggy game, full Mass Charm can also be used to safely lock a flag or even teleport out. I use max Mass Charm it as if it were Silence, but it's both a bit better and much worse. A bit better, since you can secure kills in a more reliable way (the opponents are immobilized), much worse, since it's no

That was an enjoyable read IN1, pretty accurate profiling too. Off topic: If we are dropping names, I'd like to mention some excellent Erebii from what I've seen in the past: -2nana (Korean player, showcased the power of minions/passive erebus dps by spanking my no-minion ass) -Orcun_BL (Orcun used to play erb for the old premade [posidenii/ivorgor/orcun], probab

Since my old thread actually got locked ~12 hours after I tried to do it - for better and for worse - and won't unlock in another 12 hours (thank you, impulsedriven.net blog system, you are so wonderfully responsive), I'll reply to renz here. If someone feels like continuing the meaningful part of discussion here, they are welcome to do so: for instance, I think I_htya and Zen did not have their duel time/date set, for example.

Seriously, why no one ever hosts XvX Random Gen games? The difference in quality between best gen (Oak) and worst gen (QoT) is not as huge as that between top and bottom tier assassins... Was in one of those recently (it was a spontaneous decision to go all generals on both teams), and it was a lot of fun. It was QoT/Erb/Occ vs Sed/Oak/Occ, with me as QoT. Naturally, it was much more strategic and defensive than Random Ass games, but still plenty of act

But then there are other games, like the batshite crazy ai mod game I played (that like 10 people tried to join.... whodathunk?) that I really didn't care what the teams were. Just wanted to have fun. Being up against 2 ai regs on levi with the other team having another reg was sooo painful. I'd walk out and be down to 40% hp mid/late game. But a game like that, sure, I try to do my best, but I don't really take it seriously - its just for fun. Y
