Actually that comment raises a good point. A separate part of the tourney for people with < say 200 games (smurfs excluded) would be of benefit to raise interest in the game. I know numbers are limited and this idea may have logistical problems but it seems pointless to have new ppl entering a tourney vs experienced players and seeing their citadel flattened in 20 minutes. I don't think that would endear new ppl

I like Erb much more than Oak. He's much less annoying. Yes, very safe and survival-oriented, but no silly crap like invincible Shield III + whatever. Yeah, yeah, a good DA in a non-laggy match can counter this somewhat, as well as a good Sedna, but there is, like, 1 DA/Sedna per 10 matches I play. Plus, Sednas aren't usually all that good (= use Silence in weird ways). So if I am playing a safe DG, I want to feel I contribute to his being safe somewhat (well, at

Thanks, Cow! I can easily drop 3 final skills in this build and get Coven I-III instead (much earlier than 18-20, of course). But I really need to watch some good Ereb replays to see how to play those minions efficiently.

Is it possible to play Erebus like this? I mean, yeah, I've won a few games w/ this build, but those were noob/mid, so no idea... 1. Bite 1 2. MC 1 3. Mist 1 4. Bite 2 5. BS 1 6. MC 2 7. Bite 3 8. MC 3 9. SAVE 10. Bite 4 / BS 2 11. MC 4 12. Mist 2 13. Mist 3 14. Mist 4 15. Bloody Haze 16. Muddle 17. BS 3 18. PB 1 19. PB 2 20. Vampiric

Weird, indeed. Anyway, there is a screenshot of Wip's lobby with some great comments by OMG_UserBanned, namely: "These forum guys are making fun of you all the time in their games, saying your ideas are fucked! Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha!" Here: http://s1.postimage.org/smktr1og/rich1.jpg

Hotkeys are detailed in-game. Mouse controls are intuitive. Some info on basic game mechanics you can find here: http://demigod.wikia.com/wiki/Demigod_Wiki Skill trees and calculator used to be hosted at DemigodDB, but it's unavailable lately, so you can use this: http://darkwave-studios.com/Demigods/ and this: <a href="http://forums.demigodt

Left due to the massive imbalances of LE/UB/Oak, the huge frustration factor of hosts doctoring game stats, stupid connection and synchronisation issues, ridiculous mechanics of perma-flag-locking, a few bugs, and the ever-loving devs who left the game in the hands of Stardock about a month after release. Hmmm... Well, Pacov will probably answer you shortly in much greater detail. Perma-flag-locking no more possible with current patch. The only significant imbalance

Final Final note - dark wanted to do the 1v1 (was very slow) and we went all random and that caused the match up (eg, I didn't go qot as some sort of slight to her ub). Well, a well-played QoT is one of the strongest - if not THE strongest - DGs 1v1 (we won't discuss spirit Oak here), so no one would think that. On the contrary, we may think you cheated to rape her cute harmless UB with your baaadass nasty QoT! ;)

http://www.gamereplays.org/demigod/replays.php?game=51&show=details&id=153103 Literally there's no other queen that I would have won that game with, so yes Rawrr's build is the best; although there's at least 5 or 6 other UB's that not-empty/soccer-mom would have won that game with but that's a different topic lol. Have finally found some time to

BTW, I know now for a fact I cannot defeat Zen_God (was a good game, however). On the other hand, Zen_God cannot defeat anyone, either, when I'm on his team! ;) (was a horrible game when we had a newbie attached to us as a 3rd teammate) Yeah, he got online at 9 AM, so I've actually played him. Not a very talkative fellow (weird, as most T1 players talk more than they actually play), but very fun to play with/challenging to play against. &nb

OH MY GAWD!!! Just got raped 3v2!!! Me (QoT), andyman (Rook), Renfri (DA) vs Anriy (UB), famen (Rook), ColPlague (Oak). We've gone an obviously weaker combo, since we had a better team, IMHO (though I've never played with Andyman before). Anyway, ColPlague dropped early mid game, but these guys really crushed us with AI Oak on their team! Yikes! No idea as to why is that. Andy died 2 times, but not enough to feed them. I bought Cur1+Cur2 ASAP, so my teammate

oh i didn't think you didn't have a headset. [e digicons]:)[/e] Just that you didn't want to talk. In fact, I didn't: just a wild guess :) I prefer to turn the sound off if ppl on my team are communicating in English (or in any other foreign language I know). I concentrate too much on decyphering the questions and then on formulating my answers. It doesn't happen when I hear/talk Russian on Vent, obviously.

I'll watch that Youtube replay shortly and comment on it. Your help and critique are much appreciated, Shane! Especially because QoT discussions are usually just not happening... :) Offtopic: Never again will I play with Russian players on my team (fortunate exceptions to this rule I'm personally acquainted with are scarce: Dreamcatcher, Lols_Seawolf, k5k, Akumrise). I don't want to sound ethnically prejudiced (well, I was born in Russia, and my mother is

Well, DotA/HoN/LoL experience helps a bit, but compared to those games, DG is slow-paced, much more strategical and team-oriented (you have cit upgrades, you need to watch the map or to play on max zoom 95% of the time in skilled matches), and, on top of that, involves much more fighting game elements. The basic concept is somewhat similar, but don't think your DotA experience will help you a lot (I know it didn't help me :)). Getting into games... Well, either contact people tha

I was like, " sorry I didn't shield you, I had to kill things" When you are the main carry, no one should expect Shields from you. That goes without saying. After level 15, when I can become something remotely resembling a carry, I Shield people mostly at crystal or in super-extreme circumstances. If I get Bulwark, I go packed only to Shield myself if fighting 1v2 or 1v1 vs a UB. About that Tribute I seem to have obsession with: i

Catering to that makes all the difference in the world (eg a strong shield + spike wave is > mulch if you have someone in front that is tanking for you and going for kills. Playing Mulch-based builds is not only unexpected, it's virtually impossible in PUG games (even those involving strong players). Wish me good luck convincing Kira I have to solo mana with QoT next time! :) What people really want from QoT, unless we have voice chat/are premade, is,
