Well, if I see a low-games/high win% player I always ask him whether it is his second acc. Most of alt acc folks are decent ppl and they admit (willingly or reluctantly) it's their second/third/55th acc. There are certain pseudo-noobs, no doubt, and I think reporting them here is a fair policy. As a rule, putting a game title like "XvX good mid & pro" will keep the stat whores at bay. I have several accs myself, but they are all variant spellings of OMG_IN1, so no one is fool

Theoretically, yes, you can. However, not every game lasts till level 20, so what really matters is the progression order.
Since I only heard bad things about the yetis there seems to by only one build for sedna then. Well, no. Look here: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/388569 and here: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/403415 the equivalent assassin upgrade looks pretty weak,. It only looks pretty weak. Various UB and TB builds should get it.
edit - you could always write a new players guide to qot if you want, though. Break this out into 2 separate posts for sed and qot as intermediate guides. All up to you. Yeah, I'll think about a possible 'QoT for newbies' re-write of QoT section. For Sedna, the job was done by Hedgie's definitive guide, which is very comprehensive and quite noob-friendly (though it has certain sections discussing mechanics).
Thanks for the complimentary remark. Unfortunately, I don't think it can be used as a noob-friendly guide (I assume too close an acquaintance with game mechanics for my potential reader), but since Sed and QoT are underplayed, maybe some experienced players willing to learn a new DG (or a new DG subtype, as playing any other DG requires a radically different approach from Sed/QoT) will find it useful. Remotely related: wanted to see SaulTigh play Sedna, but it seems to me he prefers t
Yes, unfortunately, this level 15 ultimate ability only affects your minions, both summoned from skills and idols :( Ridiculous, I know. If it were increasing Sed's speed and evasion by 15%, it could have been awesome.
Added a note on unique cost:efficiency progression aberrations for QoT skills (GS I and GS II cost the same; 50% cooldown increase from SW II to SW III).
And the only other buff I can think of either comes from abilities (da or erb at level 15) or the pendant of grace (10%). There is also a very rarely used Sedna's lvl 15 Inspiring Roar (Pounce tree ultimate), that gives +15% dodge to her minions. If you go Pounce-spamming build with max MP, you can easlily have it as a semi-permanent buff.
Universal Gadget can heal towers?!?!?!?!?!? Yes, and a lot of people, not necessarily super-noob, accused me of cheating when I've "helaed towers". It's not a very cost-efficient practice, but sometimes it can give you an edge, especially with tower strength set to High.
Favor Items that can occasionally be useful in skilled matches: *Symbol of Purity: for pure Ooze UB while laning vs a BotS UB; for Sed in Sedna mirrors -- it's the only non-silenceable effect in game. *Cape of Plentiful Mana: for Sed/QoT on Leviathan or while laning with a Staff of Renewal Tower Rook. *Staff of the Warmage: for Erb, if I risk to go mana-heavy ppapanek's Mist build. *Cloak of Night: for Sedna Pounce builds; for Occ's dou
So if I have a bad connection and I'm playing Pacov with a great connect on a 1v1, do we both experience exactly the same game? Surely we must. It's peer-to-peer connection, so yeah, that's true in anyone's but Pacov's case. Now, Pacov has got a priveleged connection from Stardock, being a DG forum moderator, so he can basically sigil whenever he wants, deal thousands of damage to you when you think everyone is frozen during lag, etc.
Get as close as you can if you have dgs with stuns AFTER 4 SECONDS and SPAM THE CRAP out of them I envy your lag-free connection, Pacov. Sometimes I cannot interrupt Hammer Slam, with its super-long animation, using Silence (an instant, yes?), so... But yeah, generally speaking, I just count to three and cast Silence usually. This way, no sigil immediately after OoD effect wears off, and that's all that really matters.
It's interesting, yes. The RTS element of Demigod will become much more prominent this way, so it will be a somewhat different game, but the idea itself is curious (in a positive sense).
I honestly think our team had the advantage with those dgs Forgive me for asking, maybe it's as evident as the fact OoD is overrated, but what was wrong with McOrcenz playing the same combo? [e digicons]O:)[/e]
Written a first draft of a general section on desired support attitude (I've seen very skilled players fail in support role, since they don't have the right mindset), and provided some analysis of subjective/objective support playstyle problems.
Well, I had a slight suspicion you were, like, doing things in life besides locking that thrice-damned portal ;) I bet Pacov will pm you as soon as he sees this message. Personally: +1, ofc; probably 3v3.
Now if you want me to look at your qot, that's another story - didn't even pay attention as I was just checking out pap. Personally, I wouldn't bother. I play it clean there, no deaths, no grave mistakes, good assists/shields/spiking, but nothing to write home about and not much to comment on. Also, I get Bulwark quite late into the game, so its full potential is not demonstrated. You know where he is from, what language he speaks, etc </p
A major re-write of QoT section. Some relatively minor updates to Sed section (artifacts re-thought, role according to level breakdown). Started a general section on supporting in DG and its problems, both objective and subjective.
yeah - to be fair, the game posted in the op really isn't anything special as far as erb goes To be even more fair, it's a bit hard to be special with Erb: great skills, but quite straightforward, with a possible exception of Mist. Ppap is as special as it gets, I believe. I didn't post it here for Shane and you, Pacov -- my target group is people that wish to improve their Erb playstyle (not necessarily noobs),
Yes, yes, I didn't say the result is exactly the same... Anyway, it's a unique skill that requires great hand-eye coordination to use efficiently, but if you can pull it off, it's unbelievably useful.
You don't cancel their skills. They cancel themselves. Yes, of course. Technically, it's obviously not an interrupt, but the result is often more or less the same.
In fact, you can, and probably should, use it as a cheap safe interrupt of sorts. However, it requires perfect timing, as going into Mist and back takes time (you can also play mind games with Mist cancel, but that requires a very skilled opponent that will react to Mist effect). If the game is a bit laggy, which is often the case, it's simply not that efficient. Ppap was able to pull it off more often then not during this match, and that was really amazing. Actu
Since I'm into studying Erb lately... A very recent replay showcasing great Erb played by one of my favorite players (I think US guys haven't played with/vs him much, and that's a shame). His Misting in and out is impeccable, the level of precision is jaw-dropping. The guy basically did not make a single mistake during this game (the only time he died was probably my - or lag's + mine - fault). Aside from ppapanek's superb performance, the game is nothi
I've found myself dropping Mist altogether, unless facing some obvious long-term debuffers: UB or Ice TB. I get 1 point in Coven instead, +4 vampires is very nice (Hedgie's wisdom is unmatched, blah-blah-blah). Whom else should I keep Mist against? Maybe certain Reg builds?
Pacov, there is nothing more to discuss here. I've got my constructive replies from King, Split and yourself, now it ceased to be informative, as you can see. Please lock it, and that's it.
