Your time is -5 to Greenwich standard. Your 6 PM = Kira's 11 PM, since he is in London. Unless he's off to sleep really early, it's okay.

So when I get home tonight and post the screen shots of the what you actually said your stand by that as well? It happened exactly like I said, and you even PM'd me afterwards with some more heavily sexually themed abuse. Then you decided to start telling me about how shit the UK is, and something about CCTV? It was rambling nonsense. It was all extremely childish. So I'm not going to get into a ba
then came back in and you announced something like "he's a smurf". Odian is a third or fourth acc, yes. Ppl claimed he's good. Indeed, he played a decent Rook. He sure knows how to use a sigil. But yeah, your position is somewhat understandable, I guess :) Just don't leave like that, I'm always ready to balance the teams.
@KingBingo: It's an unnecessary generalization. Not every high win ratio player is a stat whore. Is Kira (66% or something like that) a stat whore? Is ppapanek (a whopping 70%!!!) a stat whore? Good luck defeating any of them 2v1, if you think so :) These guys are all for fairness and balance, and your post offends them indirectly. Please try to formulate your thoughts in a correct way next time. @GonnaBeat: Ahem,
Thanks! As I said, very interesting. Gave it some thought. My build assumes 3v3, sharing a lane with other DG: Rook and Erb are the best options. Yours is much more lane-soloing oriented, as far as I can see. I should probably go your build (or a hybrid variant between mine & yours) in 2v2 matches.
You are correct on both counts: my end game is futile right now (with uncertainty and indecision) [...] I had been spending on creep upgrades (bs, arm), but now will move towards arts. I had the same problem some time ago. It's not an easy mental shift to make, but yeah... in skilled games, after giants you are better off stocking on artifacts + monitoring portals non-stop. In noob matches, creeps will do the job for you, so it's basically 'giant rush' strategy.&nbs
It's not as awful as one may think, though very situational. I've seen ppapanek play a viable SotW Erb build (heavily Mist-based), for example: http://www.gamereplays.org/demigod/replays.php?game=51&show=details&id=181813
Test done. Only the primary target is mana-leeched when using Girdle+Stormbringer.
I know for a fact Cleave doesn't trigger other leech effects, but perhaps Stormbringer is unique in this respect. I will test it tomorrow. The logic is to replace the current helm with Stormbringer. If the game really lasts that long, additional -15% to cooldowns and a lot of mana is more important than a crapload of hp/armor/damage reduction on an already hp-stacked build (Girdle gives a hug
Yes, that's the way I save them (if I save them). I never save as immediately after the game, I just rename the LastGame.DGreplay file to whatever I want.
The biggest thing your probably having problems with is over all map awareness and late game mechanics. Wow! Great summary! [e digicons]k1[/e]
Technically Summon Shamblers II and III both cost the same amount of mana as well, but that's intended, I think. Indeed. I've always interpreted it as mana cost per Shambler summoned, and it makes perfect sense. Since SS II and III both summon 2 Shamblers, the cost remains the same. In GS I/II case, that's just a weird aberration, no sound logic here.
I'm a relative noob, too. Started in October 2010, a grand total of ~400 games on all accs combined. I was in your position. As a noob, I was amazing, then the mids started to beat the crap out of me. The only way to get better is to play with/vs really strong players. Do not be afraid to be pwn3d, forget about that win %. One game with or versus, say, Zen_God will contribute much more to your evolution as a player than dozens of guides and replays.
Added a bit of math for those sceptical about the possibility of getting Girdle relatively early + a couple of points to artifact/level breakdown sub-sections.
QoT-related : In general, I agree with Lord-Orion's analysis. SW is a bit problematic skill to have an interrupt attached to, mainly due to its low ProjectileVelocity parameter. Increasing BS duration looks like an appealing proposal to me. No big shakes, but utility-wise, it could be great. Please note QoT actually has two cost:efficiency aberrations that sh
We both know there have been many opportunities for that but for some strange reason never happen. All right, I feel I have to answer this one. This will be my last reply to you on the subject of my skill/lack thereof. It's not a thread about my personal qualities, sorry. Conspiracy theories again :) Look, I live in Israel. Eh, sorry for not always being awake and there for you at 4 AM, when you are online. Now, how to pu
Do it on Levi. Kill everyone. Hahaha! Yes, yes! But I have to find a suitably stacked team first, since I'm amazingly ineffective and my Mist will probably drain life out of my teammates and transfer it to the opponents. Sad, but true. Ask brasher, if you don't believe me.
@brasher: did get a little outa hand but this stuff is starting to annoy me: Well, forgive my rudeness, I don't give a rat's ass about you being annoyed by my thoughts on strategy and/or jokes. If you want to challenge my strategy approach, be constructive and objective about it. I'm not forcing my build on you, we are a democratic community. Now, if my sense of humor is bothering you, that's un
@brasher: Only because I respect and kind of like you on a personal level, I'll reply to this not too articulate rant (was forced to read some sentences twice): 1. The fact is, you won because ( and only because ) doggu was afk during the very late game (all creeps out, all towers destroyed), not during later mid, like you were. We refrained from pushing too hard, while yo
i'd be happy to donate for anything that could help people building other maps. competitive maps for 2v2 or 3v3. I concur with my colleague!
Mist Minion: Note: This build is a bizarre one to play right. the general idea to approach a 1v1 fight is to bite, go into mist, attack the opposing DG with minions hopefully replenishing the dying ones with creeps killed by mist, come out of mist, bite, and AA to make them retreat. In this process you will most likely yellow or lose the flag the gen
7.9, then?
Much easier to take your portal back in normal games methinks. Yes, that much is undeniably true. Still, they could sell everything but J-Treads and Boots of Speed for creeps (you don't need to stack hp when you chain-lock w/ Oak)... Honestly, first time this shameless exploit actually works vs my team (I mostly play 3v3, where it's much easier to counter portal ninjas). It's like losing your virginity :)
Why level up pounce if you are rarely going to use it? I don’t really want to point at our game the other day but it’s the only reference I have. Everyone has bad days but even though it was stacked in your favor I just felt like this sed was really ineffective. I know memory is a tricky and selective mechanism, but that's just a bit over the top... Are you talking about that old game where I was a noob playing Hedgie's build and you were some weird no-Heal S
Ah, well, nvm. Let's just say Oak punishes portal mistakes a bit too severely in 2v2. Personally, I think I would be embarrassed after such a 'skilled' victory, but it's a bit idiotic to say he shouldn't have chain-locked it. He's an Oak, goddamit! What else should he do?
