So she is supposed to be animated? For me, it's not just that she's not animated for a custom civilization, it's that even when she is used for the Terrans she is not animated. So I have yet to see her animated anywhere in the game. I am playing Galactic Civilizations 2: Ultimate Edition, if that helps.
Is Jenna Casey not supposed to be animated? Because I thought it odd that she is the default Terran picture when you first load up the game, and that unlike the others, she is not animated. Even the new figurehead for the Altarians, Eleys Mue, is animated. I looked in the game files and I believe I found an animation file before for Jenna Casey, but I couldn't get it to work. Does anyone have an answer for me? I could not find any answer elsewhere in the forums.
I recently purchased and updated Ultimate Edition, and the only problem I have is that the game won't load Jenna Casey's viewscreen animation. It's not a big deal, but I would greatly appreciate it if there was a solution to it. :) For some reason the fact that it's the only bug I've seen so far makes it all the more annoying... I have a regular copy of GalCiv II: Dread Lords, but my game isn't updated and for whatever reason Impulse doesn't like my registry key. I've seen stuff about Gold Edition and Ultimate Edition and various bugs between different variations between them, so I'd like to ask everyone this: At the very least, I just want to update my game so that I may play this wondrous game without it crashing. Should I just purchase a new key, or should I purchase Gold Edition, or should I purchase Ulti
Unfortunately, there's only one of my save games so far where there are pirate ships, but I'll try it. I really hope I don't have to update, because Impulse thinks my registration key is either wrong or expired, and it being wrong makes no sense really since I've entered it previously, read that it was right, and Impulse even lists it, whereas if I type in a wrong key it won't list that. I'd probably have to purchase a new key to update it...
Sorry to bump up a post that was four years ago, but the problem this guy had is the same problem I'm having now. I'm kind of glad I'm not the only one who's had this problem...but I'm now a bit worried to have found this problem posted by somebody else and it never got resolved...

I've been having a bit of a problem with GalCiv II crashing, I hope you can help me resolve this becuase I really think this is an amazing and beautiful game and I want to be hooked on it, but I cannot seem to be able to play through a game without it ultimately crashing at some point.
