Loss of all fonts with reinstallation in Galactic Civilizations II Stardock Forums

Had to reinstall GalCiv2 Dreadlords,Dark Avatar and Arnor and games are missing opening sequence with loss of most of the fonts on all set up screens. Please help. Bob Viener

I don't know how to take a screen shot of the loading screen but the anomaly is present on all resolutions , from 1680x1050 to 1024x768 which is my native resolution. Also this did not happen with the previous versions before 1.03. Robert

I have SDC on my work computer, ISDN, and home computer (dial up connection only). I have the demo installed on my home computer and I want to down load the released complete version on my work computer and transfer it to my home computer. Can I do it? and if so how? Thanks in advance, Robert

I too have only dial up. I have been here since Galciv 1 and preordered all the sequels. I have experienced the same problem of loss of partial downloads. It is so frustrating that it may make me forget about GalCiv all together. If you offer a 400mb downlead you ought to be able to download it it packets rather than risking total loss. Your talking about a whole days' download being lost. Fix it or you'll lose this customer. I am waiting for a response. Not a very Merry Christmas here.
