Thanks for all the replies. I realise doing a System Restore would cause the program to be gone, I just thought it would restore the file from the OS disc only. 'Fences' removed important system32 file? in Fences Stardock Forums

Hello peeps. Few days ago I came upon this program and gave it a chance. The program installed without any problems and worked as it should. The next day as I turned on my PC it wouldn't go pass the "Starting Windows"-screen, but caused a BSOD instead. I did a System Repair which corrected the problem (the error found can be seen in "external link" which I added) - it restored the file but also removed Fences. Has this issue been reported before? It is merely a guess t
