WB5 was released on Novemeber 9, 2005. There will always be improvements. And it's not in the least "buggy".

Anyone who says LS sucks has absolutely no idea what they're talking about. Show me anything more beautiful and functional. And I have tried them all. Now that "Obsidian" is here there is no reason to go back. Someone's "experience" is very limited. But, of course, you have to be able to read.

There are many threads in this forum regarding this subject. I am well aware of what Litestep is and what DX is. Which, of course, doesn't answer the question. Why should I, for example, use Litestep Antares over DX Antares?

There are many themes with matching WB. The cool part is if you like a theme with no matching WB you can find your own. And no, you don't have to reenter your zip.

I love DX. I use it daily. The problem is, there's not a lot to choose from here. The potential is huge but nobody seems to want to take advantage of it. I'm currently using Chadamus' "Aero's Revenge" with Gef's "Aero XP" widgets. This is a beautiful combination and you have your choice of wallpaper and WB. As far as DX themes go, mostly everything else is pretty bland. DX could have the look and feel of the best of LiteStep but I don't know why

WB5 is beta. If you don't want to use the beta version, use WB4. If you have a problem with updating, the problem is on your end. There are no problems with updating from SDC.
