No I haven't touched the parameters, but I noticed there was a change after I upgraded to the latest version compatible with Windows 8. Anyway, I set the docks to full transparency and it seems to have solved the problem.

Thanks frankell, that was a really helpful tip! [e digicons]:)[/e] On a side note, would you know why my zoomer dock (aero reflections) has a transparent strip at the bottom? I'm guessing it could be corrected via the background.ini file?

Hi, I noticed there is no option to disable the quicklaunch dock's reflection settings. I have the tabbed dock too and the setting is available for it via 'Style/Color > Adjust blur/reflection > Reflection enabled', but there is no such option available for the quicklaunch dock. Is the omission intentional or an oversight? Either way the lack of the option is disappointing for consistency's sake because it is available for tabbed docks. Edit: The
