Reply to Distant Stars Mod both Rebellion and Diplomacy (Trinity) supported. in Sins Modding Sins Forums

If I make a map and use the sol planets the mod crashes with moons of Saturn (5 planets between Saturn and Uranus in GalaxyForge list), Uranus (5 planets between Uranus and Neptune in GalaxyForge list), and Neptune (2 planets between Neptune and Pluto in GalaxyForge list). Also the Planet Eris causes it to crash. You can easily check it by making a map with GalaxyForge and use these planets in it. The game will crash as soon as you start the map with these planets.

Unfortunetly the Distant Stars version for Rebellion 1.8 still has many bugs when dealing with the solar system planets. I have spend hours trying to make a map of our solar system with GalaxyForge and banging my head as it crashes when I try it. At first I thought I was doing something wrong with Galaxyforge (which I found strange as I had made such maps for Vanilla, Enthrenchment and Diplomacy) but at last I found that the crash was due to bugs in Distant Stars when using certain planets of

I know that there are mods which do what I am about to say but every time there is a new update mods become absolete and this will result in having to stop playing what I was just playing yesterday. Furthermore by the time the mods has been updated (if ever since some are not) there comes another update and the cycle repeats itself. Is there a mod which gives you the textures of our solar system planets and is compatible with Rebellion V1.8 (the latest version of SOASE Rebellion). I know that Infinite Space and Distant Stars mods all had these features but none of them is compatible with V1.8 of rebellion and steam will automatically update the version of the game to the latest so I find myself not able to play mods which I used to.
