When you buy a Steam game, all you get is the ability to play the game. Posting on the forums just requires a free account, so it has nothing to do with your purchase. Not being able to post to a forum doesn't limit your use of the game. It doesn't disable features in the game.&nb

Just to be perfectly clear on what we look at and what we consider when talking about promotions... Skinners are evaluated based on the content submitted to the site and the quality of their overall presence. So a skinner who submits great stuff but is a royal jerk to everyone won't generally be promoted. Skins are something that can be easily quantified, so we can put some guidelines around them. We do promote non-skinners here too, but there are no strong guidelines there. Non-skinners are promoted based on much more subjective evaluation. Basically, you have to really stand-out in the forums, articles etc. Be very helpful, very friendly.
