If you're set against the idea of the new subscription plan, there's really not much anyone can do to convince you it's a "good" thing. We know that whenever we raise the price on anything, some portion of our userbase will not like the change. It's just a fact of life. But we have to adapt to things as they change. It's not 2001 anymore. Unfortunately, we have to cover costs better. WinCustomize, with all of its downloadable content, servers, developers

Missing icons are a known issue. They'll be fixed "soon" :)
"ginger" can be considered a derogatory term at best. Since red hair is not necessarily a signifier of "race", it can't be a racist slur. Red heads occur across many ethnic groups. We're a small subset of several groups that, in terms of race, are typically labled as "White" (at least that's what all my legal forms list when I have to check a box) It's about as racist as "blonde" joke. Yes, I'm a "ginger"
With the launch this week of DeskScapes 2.0 , a lot of people who didn't previously have access to animated wallpapers (i.e. non Ultimate Vista users) might be wondering what the big deal is, and probably want to take the app for a spin themselves before deciding whether or not to spend the $20 on the stand-alone product (hey, it's bundled in wit
Adding blocks of content is really easy on that page. I just toss in a new div onto the page and type in my content and it automatically lines up with whatever's around it.
Blacklisting is 100% up to the user so they can control exactly who can and can not post to their blogs. If they don't like you, they can prevent you from even considering posting on their articles. It may not because you've been vulgar or anything, it could be that they simply do not like you and do not wish to deal with you on their personal blog. If someone blacklists you, just ignore it and move on. It shouldn't impact your own ability to blog here.
For years now, the Help section at WinCustomize has been pretty lacking. For the last two site revisions it's just been a bulleted list of links to product pages or long outdated tutorials and documentation. With the number of new users seeking support and assistance growing at an increasing pace, the time has come for a complete redesign of the page. To that
TGIF everyone! Since the end of the week is upon us, it's time once again for Island Dog to round up some of the week's most notable skins. This week, there's a cursor theme, icon pack, logon, dock background, two wallpapers and a WindowBlinds skin! Check them out, download a few and let the artists know how much you love their work! <A href="https://www.wincust
There are plans for a special Subscriber Skin gallery. However we didn't want to push this off for months waiting on some custom coding for the site. So for the time being they're just downloads with no ratings or comments.
Based on how we've priced other Inspired Themes, if you're an ODNT subscriber, the cost is pretty much the same as it was before.
There are two ways to purchase a subscription: 1. Stand-alone. Buy a WinCustomize subscription for $29.95 https://www.wincustomize.com/store/ 2. Buy the WindowBlinds/WinCustomize Bundle package Buy the WindowBlinds Extreme bundle for $39.95. This gives you a $10 break on
Well you never know... SOME of them could end up being WC Subscriber Skins too. I'm just saying ;)
We don't often talk about MyColors skins here, or the artists behind them. We especially don't do a very good job showing off their work and recognizing the outstanding degree of artistry of the skins, icons, wallpapers etc. This is a real shame considering they're all members of the community. So today, I'd like to show off some absolutely fantastic icons by none other than PixelPirate himself! These go to five of our upcoming MyColors Inspired Themes. I think
Every month, I ask the moderators here at WinCustomize to pick out their favorite skins from the previous month. Here are the picks for April 2008. <SPAN class=DynamicDropShadow_4 id=_s
Subscribers can grab the skin from the Subscriber Resources page (must be logged in).
The delete button is a known issue on the personal page. It's slated to be fixed in the next bug pass on WinCustomize
Stardock is excited to announce the release of WindowBlinds 6.1 today. WindowBlinds is the easiest, and safest way to change the complete look and feel of both Windows Vista and XP by applying one of thousands of visual styles that are available. These visual styles can change just about every element of the Windows user interface from the Start menu, task bar, title bar, push buttons, scrollbars, and nearly everything else in Windows. The WindowBlinds 6.1 update is avai
Island Dog is back again with another video walkthrough to help you get the most out of your skinning tools. This time it's a more in-depth video showing you how to change cursor sets, apply effects, trails and recolor cursors. If you haven't delved too far into the innards of CursorFX yet, give this video a look.

How are things now?
They're not lost, just not being displayed, so no one has had any articles deleted :)
Ok, I see the problem. We're looking into it.
Are things still freaky? When I go here: http://zoologist03.joeuser.com/ I see a lot of articles. Are there specific ones missing?
I had answered the question fully. The matter was closed and no further debate would have changed things. I will also be locking this thread as creating new topics about locked threads is generally frowned upon.
Very slick Baron. How long did it take to put that together?
