If you are unwilling to use Impulse as it's a beta, why are you complaining so strongly to get an ALPHA patch?

It's been a while since I featured any individual skinners here on the front page, and I thought it might be time to trot out another one. Today, I'd like to direct you to Nimbin, Apprentice and member of WinCustomize since January 2006. In his over two years with the community, he's taken on a role as one of the more prolific RightClick skinners on the site with nearly 50 RightClick skins submitted since late 2007. He also has contributed a number of BootSkins, Wallpapers
Philly, What did Melissa help you with?
Sometimes someone makes a gadget that's just so useful and cool that I have to feature it here on the front page. MikeB314 yesterday put up just such a gadget. Sidebar Player is a video player for the Windows Vis

GFW Radio is a weekly free-for-all with the editors for Games for Windows Magazine. Every week they talk about what they've been playing recently, what's going on in the games industry, or in the case of this week's podcast the super-flu that has been kicking both Jeff Green and Brad's butts the last week or two. Together, the two of them spend the podcast working on creating the virus that will wipe ou
I have a list of prizes, donors and winners from BX. I'll be moving things around to the winners today.
GameSpy's Allen Rausch recently took the latest build of Galactic Civilizations II: Twilight of the Arnor for a spin to see what had been added to the game since he last played it back in November. After many hours with Beta 6, Allen found himself still consumed by the new, unique racial technology trees, and the implications they have on gameplay. "
We experienced some server issues at one of our datacenters. Things should be happy now.

You act like our moderation system being glitchy is something new. This stuff happens from time to time. Some times one or two at a time, sometimes with entire blocks of walls. And sometimes, the low ratings are the result of user ratings post-moderation. Those don't get moved to PP.
The items you referenced were technical glitches, the system did not properly place them after moderation. They've been corrected.
After three years away, long-time skinner APB has returned to WinCustomize with a brand new WindowBlinds skin! Canvas is a very clean, simple WindowBlinds skin built with SkinStudio6 and fully optimized for Windows Vi
Ivan, you're under the incredibly absurd misconception that you are owed all of this. You purchased a product two years ago, which provided you a working product and we periodically provide feature and bug updates for this program. It is at our discretion what updates to release, when and how to release them. Since the fix you're seeking is technically an alpha patch, the fact that it's available period is out of the ordinary. We could very well only release final, tested

Training isn't always the solution. You can't train someone who doesn't have the necessary talent or interest. Fact is, there are a lot of people who tried to get into IT because they heard the money was good, not because they had any passion for it. You can't train those people up to an acceptable level, and it's not worth the effort because that person, regardless of the hours in training, will never be as good as someone who has the talent/motivation. <P
If you're here, chances are it's because you're looking for some great new skin, icon set, gadget, wallpaper or app skin for your PC. Every day, tens of thousands of people come here and download gigabytes of data in search of their latest skinning fix. Didn't think you were implying anything :) My point was really that I pick based on what I think is good work, regardless of who makes it. That the work stands on its own in terms of quality.
