Hi I've been playing the single campaign since the game got release and I have several CTD errors on one senario - this is the senario where you are looking the last shard accross the glaaxy. I've double checked I have the latest video drivers - and I recently played with almost all the video graphic settings turned "off" and still got a crash. It doesn't seem to one specific action that triggers the CTD - I've been on the research tree- on

Reloading just causes the bug to post pone to the next combat - then it happens again (for me)
Keep up the good work and I hope you get soem of those path finding bugs sqashed - they can be annoying mid to late game.
For expansion packs - perhaps a good approach is to make the modular and you can pick and choose what "rules" you play by in the game. This has the best way of keeping everyone happy.
I'll confirm this bug as well - my post is similar if not the same bug as this poster.
I'm not sure if this is already posted - for the record I have a powerful machine - 8800 gtx with latest drivers, quad core, 2 gig ram- vista ultimate the bug I'm having occurs consitantly mid to late game when playing with several plyers (cpu). I can't confirm if the number of cpu players has anything to do with it - but it does happen consitantly mid to late game. The version of TA I'm using is .93b- 002 The bug continues to happen even if I reload. The trigger s
so who is goign to post the first topless photo with a GC2 box?
Dawn of war is Awesome. Definetly on my top 10 list of cpu games of all time.
wish they would make it the 20th!!!!!!
Yep I sure do. Doesn't play well with XP though. Was hoping Conquest 2 woud be out now but I think there is a funding issue. I was one of the beta testers for conquest - and COnquest is one of my favorite space rts games around. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Cool

Anyone got a wet Noodle ??
I'd like the option to have a variety of number of planets - like from 1 to 9 in each system. In addition - have some planets have several moons (like jupiter). Another option is to allow a customer race to have more "points" at start up. Sometimes I like to play a very tough AI setting with some extra bonuses.
*achem*..... naaaa - I"m not going to touch this one........
Kudo's for Amb. Darth Kryo for making a mod example of Galciv 2. I *tried* to get this suggestion of starbases or weapons platforms into Galciv 2 - but it was not to be. I"m right there with ya Citizen Corban - Tactical combat would have been nice. I've never Liked the defense bonuses of galciv 1 or 2 just for the same reason you mention - they require a starship. Planetary guns, Starbases, Weapons platofrms, Minefields, shoud have been included in this game - but maybe its not i
"spirtiual heir to Moo2"? That's overreaching. GC 2 is a good game - but the Moo series 1,2,3 is all about tactical combat which this game isn't. Try space empires V.
So much for socialism China is a communist state - not a socialist one. For socialism - look to Europe. <img src="http://images.
DROOOOOOOL. LOoks very good guys - Can't wait!
When will the people who pre-ordered the game and beta testers get to play the full version?
Anglewyrm is dead on - this needs to be recalculated to fit the change in design for GC 2
Maybe a bug? I'm in the middle of a game and I got to an advanced stage of espinage and I didn't get any free technology. The race I was spying on was more advanced. Anyone else notice this?
I have been following GalCiv 2 for quite a while but it *never* even occured to me that a game nowadays, especially a TBSG turn based strategy game would not have a MP option. Where ya been the whole beta teting Cycle! It has always been a non-multi-player's game. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class=
