Star Ranger
I'm glad there is no multi-player. Single Player is what this game is all about.
I prefer te name be changed to "Flight of the Purple Emu"
Ship design. Hopefully more cut scenes.
cally - that concepts seems not very popular at the moment. Maybe Galciv 3 will have it.
I like 10 major civs and 6 minor civs.
I agree there should be no artificial limits for total number of ships- if you can pay the maintenance - then you can build it!
Make sure the game runs well under DirectX 9.0c !

Hope the developers are reading.....
Image #2 seems to "pop" the best for me.

The same with minefields, Planet guns, and planet launched fighters (interceptors). Can we expect any of the above combination to be in Galciv 2? I really think we should have a bit more than what was in GC1 (if a ship didn't defend the
I think this thread has been hijacked (no surpise) to have more than one topic. Fleet composition should be a different thread than orbital bombardment.
I'm not a fan of puppet states. I think it adds a whole new wrinkle of complexity that should be left out for a future game.
ayed a game at huge or gigantic size? For a ship to cross the map it takes forever....
I hope of the scaleable race we can add "more" advantages that a fixed amount. That gives a better feel for re-playability.
