Just noticing a few things while playing. The jump drive targeting came to me when reading the Titan post that was released yesterday. It pointed out where the jump drive is and it made me think it's pretty exposed and could be attacked. Missile Guidance Computer - When missiles are fired at a target and the target gets destroyed before they hit. Can we have those missiles change course and attacked another target? I feel like that's what a guidance computer would do.

Exactly! But I have found some what of a work around with bigger wells. I hope they don't patch it. (Please don't!) If you deploy a starbase from a capital ship you can get closer to the edge of the well to a point you can put your base right in the way of the enemy jump. Enemy jumps in and immediately gets bombarded, instead of having them go around my weapons ranges of the starbase.
In S1 to fire anywhere in the system you had to discover the planet. It was easy hiding your capital planet in S1 due to creating a beach head ahead of your capital. but right now with the maps being smaller and orbits it's really easy to discover enemy planets. I would like it to be the same way as S1. I also like what they have here. I feel like this last update the rebels actually use it. I've played games where almost all of their planets had one but they never used them.&nb
Praise the Advent you fixed the Audio when you spam click. Could we also get that added to the NPCs? When I select my bomber wing and spam click on a ship, it's annoying hearing them repeat the same thing over and over. I know people might not spam click like me. Also, is it just me or does the weapons range on Starbase's a lot smaller? We used to be able to camp at phase lanes. Now the enemy ships just sit after they jump in. Knowing if they move closer, they will get hit. The
Eventually and knowing that this is game testing, will we be able to change our name of our empires? Currently it's our gamer tag and it kind of ruins the immersion.
If you haven't got a reply yet.... You click the plus sign on the left side of the screen under the capital planet. Then select the ships or ship and right click on the fleet icon. Then when you create it a ship building menu will pop up and you can build ships that will join that fleet. It's a cool concept but it's a little clunky. Great after you get a fleet created.
It's funny to watch the AI have it in one of their gravity wells nowhere near me. So, what's the point?
What was the logic behind the canon only attacking a planet one phase jump away?
I've had a few issues with the hold or stop order for my garrisons. I've had them completely break, as they wouldn't move if an enemy appeared in the well or the would go back to their old ways after defeating a ship, usually scout ships. I'm glad we are going to get controls for that now. This weekend, I changed the way I thought about placing garrison. What would be great if we can setup patrols fleets.
