shameless bump. Yes I know I don't have any saves or error files, etc. However this one has been experienced by many so if SD is not experiencing this bug, drop a line and I'll see if I can provide evidence....
Given that Derek has shown up looking at some patch fixes in the xml. The next patch may be coming soon.
Agreed. Seeing Derek posting 'fixed' in a dozen or so threads is REALLY exciting. I hope he is able to fix that building rotating placement bug as well as the beastmen taming bug. Can't wait for 1.6 !
I am really looking forward to your Paladin and Sorcerer release. I was hesitant to play with the Ranger mod at first as I don't like changing the game too much from what the developers originally intended...I mostly like adding more content with the mods I use. In any case I tried the Ranger and LOVE it. Great addition. Doesn't stray at all from the realm of elemental. Imo, I do think the level up's are a little overpowered compared to the others....but I

Are you entertaining bug/crash reports where mods are enabled?
I feel the same about this! I liked building my Sovereign into a powerful combat sorcerer and use them to spearhead my attacks. Heroes usually become city governors for me apart from one or two who either lead a secondary force or join my sovereign in questing.
How about this as an option: Give the player the ability to have the sovereign leave his tower, but at the cost of losing the spells he can
I really like the concept of vastly more spells.
I'm really hoping that some of the spells (within reason and balance of course) are ported back to FE:LH.
Probably the only infinite build I use is Mana when I am jumping ahead to cast a big spell. Other than that, sometimes Gildar or Growth....but they are rare. No strategies.
I move mine such that it has the further prereq of Ereog's Journal as well. Makes it a smidge more difficult to achieve. I recommended this change back....I think it was 1.2 .... SD didn't go for it though. I'm sure they have their reasons.
I came to the conclusion that the game really pushes the limits of the videocard....I think it was partly to blame for my old card's failing (that and the fact that it was a 7 year old card that played max graphics on everything I touched....I'm not kind to my cards). I had many game hangs and crashes prior to the Christmas break on my old system. Over the holidays I upgraded from my winXP 32-bit to a win7 64-bit OS on an SSD drive. Also tossed in
Good Morning It's been mentioned several times on these threads already, but I have not seen it specifically on it's own thread. So that it does not get lost amongst all the other fixes and additions in the eventual 1.6 update, I'm posting it here....but I'd really, really love to see this fixed. (I was surprised to note how much the lack of this annoyed me to the point where I've set aside LH until it's fixed) When placing buildings, we used

@ SD In one of you upcoming patches, is it possible to include the Dragon's Eye quest set as an optional master quest in the game? Don't get me wrong, the original master quest is a good quest...it's just too easy and too localized, and once completed several times, too boring. The same cannot be said for the Dragon's Eye Quest. Adventuring for several small, randomly generated locations a great deal more challenging and fun than
@GFireflyE: Are you sure you have master quest turned off... I turned my master quest off and I do not get the Wildland in map generation. I think you should double check that you have it turned off, or are not playing a custom map that has the master quest on it already.
I am certain it is turned off. When in the game, I look at my victory conditions and have the master quest condition blanked out with a
Reply #71 here: https://forums.elementalgame.com/451631/page/3 It seems SD is interested in going as high as 2.0! Therefore, 1.6 appears highly probable.

Our animations and the detail of the units had to be genericized to allow for lots of equipment Options. Now, we could, for instance, have non humanoid races if we want. The visual difference is pretty massive. It helps that the new game has a lot of the civ v art team involved. You will be able to really notice the influence when you see the maps. But becau
