The thing that Auxilary Goverment does not protect against loss due to culture is one of the few reasons why the Deliverance Engine is useful now. The only thing helping against Deliverance Engine fire is to build more than usual culture centers of you own. And that usually means the scuttling of several trade ports. Now with the DLC both the Novalith and the Deliverance Engine received a buff. A Novalith hitting a planet wi

Did anyone notice that there is factional diversity with the new planets? Oceanic - TEC Barren - Advent Ferrous - Vasari I am quite happy about that, now we just have to balance it out, assuming it isnt already. [e digicons]:)[/e]

I'd suggest being slightly less paranoid.
Yes, exactly... actually the 1.5 update - among other things - assures compability between DLC and non DLC owners.

Constant patches tweaking balance, news feeds from developers, major free content updates and so on. All this from the moment the game was released and with no sign of ending any time soon. Sins: Rebellion? A patch around release, then a patch here half a year later timed to come out same time this DLC is released.
WTF?<
Fortress World sounds nice, although i kinda expected its going to be Starbase related. Are there more cool bonuses as this one? In the GameInfo folder I saw something called DeathWorld and Weapon Testing Grounds...sounds interesting. Any clues what these do?
I would guess that those are Planet "Bonuses".
Guys, many of the new planet bonuses (and yes, there really are 40 new ones) require planet exploration (not all - many are detectable from orbit). In fact, any of the really good ones most definitely do. The cost to explore a planet was substantially reduced and the odds of finding something greatly increased to boot. My personal favorite is Fortress World - which adds the ability to field another starbase to the gravi

Logically speaking, shouldn't worlds with higher populations have more to contribute when it comes to trade? I know it's just a game mechanic, but I'm a bit baffled as to why having a higher population could hamper trade.
I think it is because your income is you selling products. I welcome any change that makes trade port spamming a bit less the only choice. For population to outweight trade, you need to have some rather large ammounts of population. On the other hand, your first few planets usually dont have much tradeports anyway, as the space is needed for other stuff. I also love the industrial specialisation.... no longer it is entirely irrelevant where you build your fleet yards.

Right click on file, select properties and change file to readonly. You may have to delete the file and redo this with version changes as sometimes the rebellion settings file needs updated after patches to access ICO.
&nbsp
