The AI seems to use the Eradica Titan very well. Also, the Advent have the strongest defensive structures in the game after they get the research that give structures shields. This effectively triples their durability. It isn't a big deal against a human because a human player w
Movement inside a gravity well is a huge advantage because it allows a starbase to fire on its own counters. Combine that with the fact that the Argonev and Trans have uncapped AoE's and you just made the Trans the bar-none most powerful starbase in the game. Nothing will kill it now. The Orky's main problem is a problem with the fact that it can jump when used by the VR because it becomes a second titan. <

The way it is now there is no reason to not suicide run your titan at the start to get it's levels up. If it lost it's levels when killed people would be more protective of their titans and not use them stupidly. Also it sucks when you have an enemy virtualy

So in a sense you are correct. Everything built from the Frigate Factory (Heavy Cruisers and all) are all classified in game code as frigates. Unfortunately you are thinking that cruisers do exist in the game code and this is where you are wrong. The

i did a few test today to find out if the phase missile block of advent culture is worth anything. Well, it doesnt help much. Even on maximum level the difference between being in culture and being not in culture is arround 13 % longer survival time. Which sounds impressive... until you realize that that arround 10 seconds more to live for a level 4 cap ship. And that was against 10 puny Kanraks... I would rather not think about how much it would

Phase missiles... lots of them. Of course you are going to take heavy losses, but so you do against any Level 10 Titan. And Advent still dont have much usefull against phase weapons.

(well, the Loyalist starbase has them too, but a Rebel player would likely be building fewer as they go on the offensive.)
This is not exactly art, this is just screenshots with subtitles that I made for an Sins advertisement in my clan. Perhaps somebody has use for them. <img src="http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l24/ARES_IV/SINS%20REB%20WERBUNG/REBELRAGNAROWTITANK.jpg" alt="" width="1023" h

Well, once could assume that the numbers you see are in the millions, they are just shortened for easier viewing. ( Population = 322 = 322000000 people paying tax/being citizens of your empire) Considering that Sins is game on an interstellar scale were huge empires fight each others, there is no reason for you to know if a planet has a population of 321.994994 or 321997943 people. 321 is all you need to know as a few more or less tax payers
Everything seems viable and potentially imbalanced when playing vs. noobs or weaker players. When I switch up from playing advent to TEC, I feel like I am swimming in credits. If the adjacent player isn't aggressive enough, I'll get out a token force to secure a frontline and then just sit back and tech to a Ragnarov in no time. I've found this surprisingly viable. Of course it helped that they were
What if Wail had the same effect of that mass disorient thing that advent SBs have? just on the scale of the whole gravity well. At the very least it would be funny to watch a whole fleet start tilting in random directions
That would certainly be funny, however I see only a very limited use for that in multiplayer. Unless you cast them adrift for a very long time.

What I dont get is that Advent Loyalist seem to favor defense gameplay when according to the Lore they should be more like the TEC Rebels when it comes to agressivity. I mean, it is stated "they are eager to continue their revenge". That does not sound like an race focusing on defense! And so I think they should be changed in such a way that allows them to be more agressive.
Damage table for Anti-Medium weapons (AKA as LRFs): Medium Armor 1.3333333 Very Light Armor 1.000000 That's right, LRFs are almost as good against corvettes as they are against light frigates...of course, this is easily overlooked since LRFs suck at turning and shooting the damn things....unless you are an ILLUMINATOR, in which case the sillly fighter behavior of corvettes doesn't matter...so what ends up happening is

Stripped is not fine. It needs further balancing. BTW, wail of the sacrificed does not damage population at all. AND, if wail does affect the gravity well of the temple of communion, you make it in fact more powerfull. Right now you are at least punished if you dont notice the enemy fleet in time.
