I didn't see this in the changelog, but big bug I ran into was with the Vasari. The Starbase mobilization doesn't work. Spent a ton of time and research on it and they wouldn't move out of their system. Ended up quitting the game, since that was a big part of my strategy for that game.
They changed it so that you need a phase gate/node for it to jump? Did you forget that?

So you want a mod that focuses solely on capital/flagships? Interesting idea, nobody has yet to do it to my knowledge. Now I don't know how plausible this idea would be for the engine.

It's actually quite the opposite. Most people want complexity and challenge within their games. They want that greater chance of fail but not by bullshit mechanics. If we were intolerant of failing than various rogueslike games wouldn't be here. Faster Than Light an indie game that is successful yet the whole notion is that you will die a ton and it is challenging. Yet it's still successful.

If you're waiting for a mod to update to 1.1 then just stop now. If a 1.1 hasn't come out yet, it won't. The mod will probably just be updated to 1.5 and skip 1.1 And you can't revert back from 1.5 to 1.1 so there isn't a point to make a mod for 1.1

I am not grouping every single person who speaks up against DRM in a single category. Nor do I agree with the usage of DRM, I too am against Always On DRM. I know of the consequences of it, especially after purchasing SimCity day 1. I am only noting that some people here become unnesseciarly hostile when it isn't something of a "total down with DRM" arguement. Steam however I don't take to be "Always Online" DRM or at lea

This isn't a defense of "corporate giants". However you guys just automatically regard every tolerant of DRM as a supporter of corporations.I find you guys to be very aggressive when it comes to people who disagree with YOUR OPINION/VIEW</stron

Why should it be Earth? For all we know the TEC is in another galaxy for all we care despite being human. Like Star Wars, there's humans but no Earth since it's in a "Galaxy far far away"

It'll always exist. Much like it happened in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Just this time it's between consumer protection and corporate ownership rather than workers' protection and corporate authority. It doesn't help that US Copyright Laws are very outdated when it comes to Intellectual Protection for software.

You'll find that this forum is heavily against the DRM situation by a really really heavy majority. Stardock attracted a lot of people with the whole Gamer Bill of Rights deal and anti-DRM policy.
