Here are some bugs I encountered while playing the new campaign Genesis (currently at mission 3): Mission 1: When you finish off Izek before his hacking is complete, the hacking proceeds although Samuel says that it now will be easy to stop the substrate virus Mission 2: In the dialog between Samuel and Nihilon one time Haalee's portrait is shown instead of Samuel's. Side note: The sight range and fire range of the lightning towers don't match
The recent Windows updates have made DirectX 12 a little unstable in Ashes.
Frogboy talked about that in SINGULARITY DIARY: April 2017 a few days ago. Maybe try to run the game in DirectX 11 until the problem is solved.
*bump*
Looking in to getting it changed.
Maybe change it to a weekly message "quote of the week" or something like that. You could use a quote from the forums or some scientific news. I think that would fit the setting of Ashes, since it is about technological advancement.
Well... i cleared it on "much harder" difficulty last week. You need to upgrade your defenses early on so that you stand a chance against the waves of T1 units produced by the neutral factories. Get some regeneration defenses so that the rest of your defenses won't get torn down over time. Also make sure to make your way to one of the regions where the turinium genrators are. The neutral factories will send some T2 units there as well, so prepare for that. When you capture the 3rd
Last update there was a change to all of the unit tooltips.
Can you add to the tooltips how much armor penetration a unit has? So far it only says if the unit has armor penetration in general or not. I assumed armor penetration means always full armor penetration, but as you wrote multiple times in the forums by now, it seems there are different values on each unit.
The engineers need to be able to pause the construction to save resources like any other construction. It does not make much sense to have to conclude the build without the possibility of pausing but having to move the engineer.
When we are at it, add a button to pause the upgrade of a building. That would be much more important. As it is now you have to destroy the building in order to save the expenses of t
In my past games vs Neinhalt and Danei, I often had the problem that the game was decided, before it was really decided, because of having not enough points in turinium on some maps. If you reduce the required cost of quanta too much, you will see less comeback possibilities in the game, which makes a game interesting.
How about adding an additional requirement to the win via turinium? Maybe something like in sports: Y
I got this idea when replaying Imminent Crisis lately: In the Imminent Crisis missions Mac often says his connection to the world you are fighting on is bad or "it feels like 50k" or so [e digicons][/e] (obviously it's just an excuse to make the player take the main role in the fighting). Why not implement a technology which improves your connection to the world? It seems your connection determines how fast you can interact with your constructs. So the connection technology
Those changes are definitely needed! Very nice! I think Ashes needs upgradeable orbitals too. When you get in late game, your orbitals have nearly no effect at all. For example the Intensive Care orbital seems to heal a defined amount of health, which is less effective the more HP your units have. In this case the solution could even be to make Intensive Care regenerate %maxhealth per second instead of regenerating a fixed amount of health. So with that in mind either make the orbital
Maybe change the node locations on Bis so that the neutral creeps won't attack your mines? The rest seems nicely done!
Yea. The trick is that David Simpson is so busy he may not have time to write the sequel in the near future. I may have to work with a different author (David's a great guy btw, you should read his Post-Human series).
I will definitly have a look at the Post-Human series when I'm finished with my bachelor thesis [e digicons]|-)[/e] I hope you get David to write the sequel. I'm afraid another author wi
In the "not a promise" category, Episode 3 is well into development. While Episode 3 will be DLC, Juggernauts will be a free unit added to the game. Each side will get one and they'll appear in Episode 3. The base game, btw, will be getting Juggernauts too as they make a satisfying doomsday weapon. Right now, I have early Spring as the release date for this.
So Episode 3 is the campaign, which takes place after the Escalation campaign? Im alr
That would be a very nice feature. Atm units dont really join the battle when getting to the front. Adding an attack move to the rally point would fix that problem i guess.
