Game Speed Modifiers in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

I couldn't find data about this: How much does the different speed settings affect the speed of research, movement, income, etcetera? For the record, from my searching around for gamespeed-related threads, it seems I'm in the minority, among the few people that actually plays in the Slow speed. Mostly from my background coming from Europa Universalis and Civilization, I suppose. Does playing in Slow cause any notable imbalance in some aspect of the game? T

Yes, there's no campaign, but the Single Player skirmishes aren't exactly "short missions" either. You can have quite epic games in gigantic star system with many opponents, if you like that. My approach to Sins of a Solar Empire is similar to my approach to Civilization: I play long games across a few days, and it's quite satisfying.
