Yor Power Matrix, population bonus bug? in GalCiv Beta Feedback GalCiv3 Forums

I couldn't find anything about this in a search so it may not be a bug. Found that putting a Power Matrix on a population bonus tile gives the improvement a bonus to manufacturing, research, and economics. It does not, however, affect the synthetic population cap bonus. This seems odd to me and was wondering if that was intended.
