ahhh Skinz.org "the good old days" of being flayed alive on a daily basis by ess-vid, shoggot, iST... Those long summer days of BakerStreet telling me i was going to singlehandly going to bring down the skinning community with SkinWerkz haha. So what the hell happened to Kodman? haha. I thought that was Adni for a while but the quality is there in adni skins so it can't be him. Misery/Deaddreamer just did some work with The Skins Factory along with Lowen on a Terminator 3 Skin not yet released.

Also Que! has an 80 gb USB.2 drive that i bought for about $150. Works great. I just did a search and saw these: QPS M3 40GB USB 2.0 HDD for $141 and QPS 120GB USB 2.0 External UltraSlim Hard Drive for $220.
so the new component mgr is going to look like copperdeck? Or is that a skin over it.
I do think the idea has merit though if the proper authorizations are asked for and given. In that case it is a wonderful idea. But permission MUST be obtained. Sorry forgot to add that last part.
I think it's wrong unless the original author gives their consent. First of all it could dilute the quality of the original skin. If you get some untalented loser who has no skills and uploads a patch to a skin that a skin author spent weeks on what happens? Well you will have this great skin with subpar looking shell support. How does that reflect on the original artist? What if someone uploads a screenshot and here you have this great skin and crappy added things. Will people know it
Wallpaper is in the file.
working on it. This was created quite a while a go. If i remember correctly, the installer checks to see if you have windowblinds and if you do bypasses a full install.

color is off. did u use a crt monitor or a laptop?
we're going to enter. We're using an older skin though.
i noticed the image you used to represent the skinning for this article is a knife set. Did you just see Silence of the Lambs? hehe
Oh and another honorable mention would definitely be Mikkel Madsen of MMX. Simply a beautiful and huge photorealistic icon set based on William Bart's Mercury theme for Mac. Probably one of the best icon sets out there and embraced by community spawning a ton of screenshots of people's desktop sporting his icons. You can See the MMX icon sets here http://www.mmicons.com/
oh i'm not ragging on you i just would have like the option of submitting images that represent my company. Its not like your a stranger like i said writing an article. A "hey Jeff we're including you in an article do you have any skins you want to show" etc would have been nice. Well as far as being the biggest in the worl i'm not that egotistical but i think the clients who come to us speaks for itself. Though i think we are the biggest in the world hehe just kidding <img src="http://images.s
or early morning. days and nights blend a bit too much these days.
read it last night. i'll reread.
Well i'll add an update to "The Year in Skinning" for 2002. Windows Media Player 9 Series (Corona): Microsoft does it again with their release of Windows Meda Player 9 Series. 9 Series is an across the board release unlike its predecessor Windows Media Player for XP. This means any user with an Windows Operating System of 98 (Service Pack 2) or higher can download this feature-rich media player. With over 120 new features in Windows Media Player 9 Series, there’s a lot to explo
not to mention you really need to get out more If you did, you would know that MMD3 by barti bartman was by far the biggest success story and most popular skin for winamp 3. And besides considering who are clients were in 2002, i think we deserved more then a casual reference in an article about Windows Media Player for Skinning in 2002.
i would have like to have been consulted and had the option of submitting skins to represent my company on it. I wouldn't have chosen those but those seem to be the only ones that we did windowblinds for. We've done higher profile and better looking skins. Considering you included us it would have been nice being asked or even a heads-up that our name was being used. Since we know you. Not like your a stranger or something.
I'm surprised no one answered this question concerning a product so i'm responding to throw it back on the top of the msg board. Maybe someone will take the time to answer it for you.
that was really nice of you guys. Merry Christmas
Ryan that's funny. I went to my dad's house a long time ago when he first got his 21 inch Dell monitor and his res was at 800 x 600. I was like man what a waste of desktop space. People don't seem to realize the difference between 800x 600 and 1024 x 768 is incredible when you get the extra space for the higher res and it's not so bad on the eyes. Anyone with a 21 inch not using 1600 x 1200 is just wasting their potential for desktop space.
ok i'm retarded. I didn't think my comment posted so i submitted it again only to realize there are now multiple pages on these things. Sorry
