Just to elaborate; After an idea is voted for, the skins submitted are not all windowblinds. The skin chosen to build from could be a sysmetrix or an icon set or wallpaper or even a start button. Get the point I am sure. My thoughts anyhow, and if we take our time and each do a portion, maybe neone and kitty will have time to toss in a piece or to along with the rest of wc members. I was trying to offer a different direction so as not to hurt feelings and to start with a fresh idea. I wonder, I have a great desire to learn to skin sysmetrix or some other app, and wonder how you all would feel about a cross training project where each person could skin something they never skinned with the help of someone experienced in that area. For what it is worth: FYI,, this is a disposed of skin, not a wip. so it is changeable and suggestions on a direction to go would be great. This start menu has hope, the frames not so much, imo,. Maybe some steel fabrication for frames? Thought along the lines of a loading platform set up for taskbar. That was my intent, then I lost all direction. So, unless we as a group do this, it is lost. &nbsp

I have an abandoned skin, was going for the shipyard container feel, but could not find a direction. So, if any interest still in a project, A biosphere, or ecohouse, or whatever, I am willing. The texture files! You can extract the image from the texture file to alter.Should be a png inside the texture file. Using 7-zip, right click on the file{texture} click open archive, then you can" open with" select the image. You have to make a correct tile image to get a clean look. Can be difficult. You can open the file with 7-zip.Do not need to convert it. You can change it with most art programs. Also, if you want to permanently change it, do it through skin studio, explorer backgrounds. OR, just set it as your background through wb and it will stay that way until you change it or click on the original wba again for any reason.

I like Ernie Leo's suggestion with the exception, I am not a big fan of just onboard graphics. A little reading leads me to believe you will be playing games on reduced settings. I would add though, with his suggestion, you can add some better graphics support later. IMO. Happy building, always an awesome time for me, hope you enjoy it.
