i am running windows 7 home edition deskscape 3 and it is a desktop only my avg virus protecion on startup

for some reason everytime i shutdown my computer on startup my dreamscenes wont run i have to manually start them and it says my windows desktop manager is not running its kinda annoying is there a fix for this?
