I removed everything including my installed cursor packs. Rebooted. Clean installed CursorFX 4 and everything worked as should be expected, including faster startup. Put all my old installed cursor packs back in the default location (now 125 packs in total) and the program started after about 15-20 seconds and seems to work ok. Still takes 15-20 seconds to start every time. As I mentioned earlier, I have a total of 125 cursor packs installed, but the them

You're right. Kind of.[e digicons][/e] It does require a certain rank of 1 or higher. And rumour has it that there is such a thing as rank 0, which means you're exiled, I suppose, and can't do diddly squat on here. Curtis is rank 1 and can post screenshots directly on site, as far as I can see.
The question was why should I continue to purchase anymore skins if they are not compatible anymore with browsers.
How can anyone, except you, know the answer to that?
I don't understand. What, exactly, is the purpose for Windowblinds and why should I purchase anymore?
The purpose as it has always been, to change the default Windows interface & start menu. The reason to purchase is, obviously, to get the latest working version and quite frequent updates, and to support the company that make all this possible in the first place. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

About AV: I've bought a few of them over the years and every single one gave me trouble(s). Pretty sure Norton gave me an ulcer. And I can't say for sure that any of them saved the day. Stopped using external AVs, and decided to trust Microsoft's built in defender some years back, and lo and behold, no trouble ever since.
I just wish we had 7 and that 8 and 10 had never existed. I have never wasted so much time fixing OS issues as I have with 10. It is a POS.
Very true from a skinners perspective, I guess, but remove skinning from the equation, most people find Windows 10 stable and user friendly. My-two-cents.
No, it is not a rendering problem. Chrome is fine, Edge is slow.
To be honest, I haven't used the new Edge a lot, but I also found it slow at times compared to Firefox, so I always end up swithching back to FF when my patience run out. I don't think it's a rendering problem either.
I don't think Stardock has no control over that, I think it's your country doing it.
Or more than likely, the third party, FastSpring, that handles the transactions for Stardock. They are the ones changing the currency for me to €uro and there is clearly no need for that when using PayPal other than FastSpring charging an exchange fee.

Just tested this on my tablet, and same thing happens there. A while ago, things started to happen at WC like the navigation bar moved down covering the top of the galleries (other thread). That seems to have been fixed, and maybe that's when this new error was introduced. Other things that come to mind is the new VAT tax in Norway making everything from Stardock & Wincustomize 25% more expensive than the rest of the world. Clicking on a premium skin now changes the currency to

When trying to access forums via Wincustomize, I have been getting this page (screenshot) for the last days. Happens with all the big browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge & Opera). This happens only when I'm logged in and clearing cookies & logging out gets me to the Wincustomize forums, but as soon as attempting to log in, I get the screen above. Not
