Windows 7 was really great, so I skipped Vista & 8, but when 10 came out, there were never a question to to get it or not. Loved it ever since, as an operating system that is. Hated the looks though. In my opinion, I'd leave the sinking ships and skin for 10 only. Less hassle for skinners that way too.
Does nobody want Object Dock anymore? That was my favorite thing you guys did.... Object Dock and Fences are all I want.
Well, Object Dock is not nor has it ever been a part of Object Desktop (what this thread is about), but I think many users would like to see the dock updated and compatible with Windows 10. So let's wish for Object Dock or a dock to be included in OD 2020 then. ;-)
I am running windows10 insider preview 1903 19023.1 and deskscapes 10 won't run. deskscapes8 will run flawlessly
That is because insider versions of Windows are test versions and may have features disabled that are needed for software like Deskscapes 10. That is why there is no support when running Stardock products on insider versions.
(Who cares about changing icons these days!) So, in general, I'd see the way forward for Object Desktop as being more about the productivity-enhancing features and a lot less about 'look & feel' on a superficial level.
Absolutely nobody change their icons or the look & feel of their desktop that are customers here at Wincustomize & Stardock. What gave you that idea?

Keeping Windowblinds running without errors has become very difficult with all the changes to Windows, browsers and all the apps we use.
