I current'y switched to RedHat 8...so far I really like it, easy to install and the best part, it's FREE !! however, you do need a high end machine to run it in the GUI mode, of course...it comes with the basic everyday software, Office stuff, Acrobat reader, etc...I think I'll stick with this for a while... my other PC is XP......ehh
yes, you are completely right...the stranger it looks, the more trouble it will draw; and I just hope they'll find that timeless design like the Chrysler Building...the design of the next building is so important that the entire world is curious as to what it will look like, so I'm sure the architects will try to be bold...
well, as a honorable citizen of WinCustomize and New York, I have to say that we definitely need something to stand out...and it seems these days the more outrageous it is, the more success it has...I don't necessarily agree with it...for example, if you look at all the ideas submitted for the Trade Center site in the link provided by joetheblow (thanks Joe ) you will notice one design looks like a Tic-Tac

Thank you so much guys...yeah, I guess I'll give it a try, but you won't see anything from me for a while... I was trying to poke around Photoshop, but it looks Greek to me...I think I'm due for a few study manuals...In the mean time, I'll get the "trial" version of the other software mensioned...I'll see how that works out for me..h
