Thank you for your feedback so far everyone. We've compiled a new SitRep from this.
Yes, but how do I send it?
Dropbox or any other file share should work.
I am struggling to understand the problem here. Can you rephrase that?
Huh, I think you might be right. I can't see a way to set the player's civ's team. Let me ask...
So you want more options for what your homeworld spawn has? That might be a little too meta-gamey. Note: Removed the ALL CAPS.
Quoting Basilisk83, reply 16 yeah, the thing i really like about the navigator command ships is the couple that are survey vessels, gives them lots of good, tough survey vessels. Yes but I've learned the hard way that you can
As stated there is only english at this time. We will be disabling the language selector an update to prevent people making this mistake until we have the translations ready.
I feel like we need to call this the Basilisk Trilogy.
Blank screen weridness. Can you upload the save game for where this occured? Assuming it can be repro'd.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The UI cutoff stuff is well known about. I've added the shipyard bug and typo for the next report.
It will not be long now. As said though you can alreayd modify existing civs to play around with some different stats/attributes cominbinations.
Just pinned this one as it's the most recent guide written :)
Seilore wrote up a guide on the forums here for some basic strategy tips. Galactic Civilizations IV Strategy Guide
I don't think that's how it works unless something changed over the last patch. The states of citizens mainly pertains to how they contribute to your planets.
The sequel thread. I'll ask someone from the team to take a look but again no promsies as major reworks would be a lot of time investment.
Regarding "advisor messages useful to new players", it's definitely useless to just have met another civ and then immediately being told to beware of them - at the beginning of the game when noone has any power to beware of. The "beware" message is fine in itself, but it shouldn't appear before you should actually beware of a civ - like when relations are bad enough to warrant it or they're neighbours of greater power than you. <br
Heh, I think that's just the nature of RNG. Not sure if there is a way to mitigate that as it's just part of the design and when you need to make hard decisions.
The latest sitrep is now complete. Thank you everyone for helping bring our attention to bugs, typos, and your general feedback on the game.
Hmm, looks like it worked after resetting the date.
Hey APB, Can you provide links to which skins you've been updating? This might be a webdev issue but I can take a cursory look now to see if something is off.
Thank you for making this post. We appreciate feedback from games dozens, and hundreds, of turns into. Obviously the Battle Viewer is brand new so we're going to be iterating more on that.
Interesting. I don't think we've really had a proper discussion on the starting leader. I'll bring it up and show the team this post. There might be something we can do but it might be a post-1.0 thing now.
This is what we call the "keep ya on your toes" strategy of rapid development ;)
As has already been said this is a subjective questions with a subjective answer. And some games just aren't for some people. The best way to answer for yourself is to compare to any other turn based and 4X games you've played.
