Blair, Unit stacking sounds like the kind of thing I want, to control my point no. 2. My stack of unit X should attack the enemy stack of unit Y. If it can be performed in an abstracted view, all the better. CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-ETC-clicking several fast-moving hostile units are not everyone's idea of fun. I play it and love it. I bought and installed the expansion but... I have been too busy to try it out. I love the tactical combat aspect, and the design choices for building your ships. The combinations of sections and the ability to choose which weapons to carry gives you real potential for making a difference just through designing your ships. Had the same issue, tried the solution (requesting my key) and it works! I suppose this fault was caused by the prerelease entering "No serial number required" into the serial number field, but because I am now able to download and install my beautiful, beautiful game, all is forgiven.
