I simply refuse to use the address book. And when I send my Email address to someone else(which btw is few and far between), I ask them not to put it in a address book. So far, this has worked quite well for me. I have had only one viral Email which was promptly deleted. Also, I open only those that I know are coming, and scan any with attachments. This saves me a lot of grief. And I do run quality Anti- Virus/Trojan software. First line of defense is yourself, do not open Email

We still like you and your talent Dark Mist and I for one can understand. Mistakes, accidents and mis-understandings DO happen and is easily forgivable, but the blatant public "finger-pointing" is no mistake, accident or mis-understanding, and not so easily forgivable.
The very reason I never bought a G-3 or a G-4, couldn't afford them then, so what does all that G-5 power matter to me. And all too often the "rich" buy them for show, desk ornaments, too many just sit around gathering dust...what a waste.
Patiently, we will wait for your speedy return.
You may need to right click the "Wincustomize" bar and use "Reset List" Also in View>Settings>Discussions adjust your "Check for new messages" (I use every 2 minutes).
For the record: It is I who was laughed at when using "O.S.Ex" by none other than a sales rep., who by the way caused my loss interest in Macs, plus they cost too much.
Believe it or not, it is called O.S. 10 and true Apple aficionados will laugh at those who call it "X". [Message Edited]
Always glad to have you here, be lookin for ya.
So, do we all get an additional two weeks of extended grace on our subscriptions?
I have noticed when I try to DL a WB using my Fresh Download accelerator, I will get "File not Found", and when I click on the DL button, it will automatically start downloading into my Internet Temporary File and not give me any options to DL it anywhere else. I know everything is being worked on, so I am only adding my findings for future reference. <A HREF="https://www.wincust
I liked the following WB's... Krem, Micron2, Brown SugarII, Landing Zone, Synapse, Desertwind and a few others are those that seem to be easy on my eyes. Soft, blended natural colors are best for me. Not too dark and not too bright or complicated, just simple and easy yet not bland or mushy either. There must be enough well thought out details to hold my attention. But then I have times when I will use something like T3, and Borg for a time. I do modify any colors until it
I have had a few instances of the problem again today, not nearly like it was before, so I guess things are still being ironed out. At least I know it is not my computer and that in itself is a good thing.
Just wanted to say that everything is working great again. Whoever and whatever was done to make that happen, Thank you very much. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="P

Happy Daze again, So far this evening, every link I have clicked on in Wincustomize has opened the way it should. I only partially regret having spent $60.00 I was saving for XP thinking it was my problem, but, I did get some cool software that will run on XP too. Thanks T-Man. <img src="http://image
Thank-You T-Man. Thats all I needed to hear.
Two tries to get Wincust 1st page, two tries to get Wallpapers, after 5 tries to get Windowblinds and couldn't, I ask... Please, those who do know, will you at least say something? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered by SkinB
I gave up last night, couldn't get a single Web Page to load here at Wincust. Today, so far, very few problems. [Message Edited]
OK, then if it is a problem with Wincust I will be more than happy to wait patiently for it to be fixed. I just need or needed to know that it was not a problem from my end. $60.00 later and two weeks of futzting and now confirming, I think it is safe to say that it isn't a problem from my end. I was just about ready to do an complete HD overhaul, and wasn't looking forward to that. <
I am even using a Firewall Karma_Girl suggested I use last January when I was having so much trouble with Zone Alarm. And yes, Koasati is correct, it doesn't matter what time of day, (although I do use Earthlink), which has not been a problem,I am at a loss as how to explain or correct it.
Thank-you everyone, I have already tried your suggestions to no avail, I do believe Wizop Koasati is correct. I cannot seem to find a solution or a correction on my end of things, but I will certainly keep listening and trying. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Pow
Yes GM, I have done the cookie thing, defragged, scan disced and everything I can think of.
Help please from some of you computer guru's. I am using Windows ME. I am on Dial-up. I am using Internet Explorer 6.0 / SP1 I am a Wincustomize subscriber level 4 user. I use Wincustomize Skin Browser 1.10 and the latest version of SDC. I know I need to upgrade to XP and DSL. Two weeks ago a problem started whenever I came to Wincustomize and tried to access a web page. I w
If I wasn't so tired from being up since 3am, my English might even be better, or not.
When my WB 3.50a "expired" and I used CM to DL 3.51, only to be told that to install 3.51 I had to use SDC which as you can imagine only showed 3.50a updated to today, I was a bit bewildered. But then when I discovered WB 3.50a and 3.51 in two different folders, I uninstalled them, and even had to drag one out and into the trash by hand as there was no uninstall file. Next thing I did was run WinCleaner from BLCorp.com and cleaned out all the useless dll's and then the registry. I rebooted, came
