What if I make my own background that looks similar and still matches the theme but isn't actaully the same?

Well I havn't got a respone or anything to my emaiul so let me change my question. Do I really need to get permission? The only thing thats the same are the colors and I used the background that came with it; nothing else.

I created a Logon for one of my favorite WindowBlinds and I thought I’d upload it here, but then I realized I better get permission from the author of the WindowBlind since I did use some of it in creating the logon. How do I contact this person though? I don’t see any email addresses listed on the site anywhere.
