Cygnus, I agree with you. Troubleshooting someone elses computer is a timely endeavor. First you might look at drivers, then programs, then viruses and then spyware. It took me 2 hours to look at the drivers and progams and then to download the spyware killer. Then, running the spyware programs, thoroughly "deleting" all the found spyware, installing virus protection and a firewall(3 hours). Most people never run defragmentation, and that can take hours. Especially, if they've never run it. Also

What I actually do with large letters is that I trace them with my vector tool(on a new layer). This changes the antialiasing text to vector text. I then remove the old text. I use PSP7 too. I like it much better than PSP8. [Message Edited]

As you can see, the text looks extremely jagged. It might be a good idea to use anitaliasing or at least fill in the jaggies with the blending color on the edges. For example, I would take that top left pixel and use it on the right top of the "A" too. The antialiasing will give you good blending colors for your background. This way when you zoom out to normal, the text won't look so jagged, but smooth.

I haven't seen a skin in the library that doesn't have at least 80 errors in it(except mine). It doesn't seem like a major "critical" type of error to me anyway. Maybe there are too many duplicate buttons doing different things.

I assume that these are probably toolbar icons that you want to edit. So, I suggest that you open them with SkinStudio. SkinStudio can convert windowblinds toolbar icons to png so that you can edit them easily. Make sure you put a check in the proper box and add your paint program(the one that can work with png files) to the top of the editors list. Personally, I don't need to stare at a wallpaper telling me that my system is XP. I mean Duh. I can see that for three seconds when I boot up and that is long enough for me. In fact it is too long. I want a faster boot up. If I see that logo for 0.5 seconds then I am much happier. I'd rather see a beautiful landscape on my desktop. How about a beautifull landscape with an XP logo? If the wall was included, you need to make sure you have the option checked in Windowblinds configuration, "to apply any wallpaper supplied", or the wall won't load with the windowblind. Or, what everyone else said.

I upgraded my P3 750 Mthz win98SE Gateway recently. I was able to get a P4 3.0 Ghtz and motherboard for $300 US from gateway. I then added 1GB memory for $200, and WinXP Pro. I had to use a new case and power supply too. But, it was worth it. You won't get much software support on a Linux and nothing here will work, that's for sure. Its tricky but if you want to move it right, I think you use the left content margin or the right content margin of the user pic. I haven't found a setting that will allow you to move it vertically. Nothing seems to work there. So, I add a line of magic pink above my User Pane to adjust the User name vertically. Where's the best places to save downloaded files? If you right click the download button, you can choose, save as Then, a dialog box will appear. There is a drop down arrow at the center top location box. If you use that arrow and choose desktop, everything you download will be immediately visible on your desktop when the download completes.
