It has a long way to go if it plans to beat windowblinds and DesktopX. If it is more of a 3D environment type program, then it has a long way to go to beat 3DNA. I'll stick with Object Desktop. It's much more developed, more themes, and much more stable. I hate crashing my system trying beta programs.

Also, I would never use YZ Dock. I'm stuck/struck with Stardock Programs. I'll just wait for the next version of Object Dock and hope it gets better.
I really like Object Dock myself. I just wish that I could use it more. I would like it to be a permanent addition to my desktop. But, it uses too much memory. Sure, there are better settings that slightly improve the memory usage, but at the loss of visual quality. Maybe if it used more of the DirectX drawing methods, and less of the GUI drawing methods, it would probably be better. Also, it tends to continue to use memory, until you have none. And it locks up sometimes or lags terribl
np here either. But, I stick with IE.
Yawn, I'm getting sleepy with this topic. But, when is the next version of ObjectDock coming out. Please, less memory usage and fix the leaks. Thank you.
It is similar to someone wanting to remove the windows gif image from IE. Why? It is windows, it was made this way. If you don't want it there, use another OS. Sorry if it sounds harsh. Another saying goes, "If it ain't broke, why try to break it?" or, something like that.
Personally, I don't see the necessity of changing anything. Why not just move your files to the proper folder? (I.E. move music files to my music, move pictures to my pictures) It seems that one is trying to unneccessarily complicate simple matters. One thing I did was to create a shortcut to my preferred folder in the My Pictures folder. One just needs to work within the constraints of the operating system. It is flexible, but beyond that there comes instability.
I for one truly do not see the point any longer in this post. 1. All Conners points have been proven untrue. 2. It's just Conners bashing members because his points have been proven untrue. So, I don't see any gain from anyone by continuing this "bashing thread". Can we move on?
i came back to see if this stupid collection of wannabe wits Conner attacks WC members again From Conners first post, Conner attacks. "I joined this site summer of last year...get a life." somet
So, you insult others by calling them names "Communist" and everyone else is immature? Hmm. You come here insulting the products that many users here enjoy, and you expect a friendly welcome. You don't offer any suggestions to improve the product, you just flame away at it. And you are surprised that the users here, who like the products, answer you in kind? When you attack, most people attack back. It's normal human reaction. I think you need to look at yourself, and not try t
It is strange that no permission text was included in the zip for that package, although the port claims to have permission. Without permission, aren't all these ports just RIPS?
Nah, power shouldn't be a problem for a simple reason. Nvidia cards are not available as a retail part to the general public. This is a fact mentioned on their website. The card only comes with new pre-configured systems. This way when a Nvidia card goes bad they don't have to offer support for it. I found out this problem when their crappy TNT Riva2 card fell apart. I have a website that I also commented at where many people voice their dissatisfaction for Nvidia Video Cards. It seems that this
I believe there was more rating abuse at Level 3, so it was moved up to level 4. There was some earlier discussion about it.
Another Aries, eh? HAPPY BIRTHDAY CRABBY!!!
How does an Author, who Rips other authors and from what I understand is exiled, and when I checked his library nothing was there, become one of the top authors? eh, Mac?
I think the DX object idea is great. I do agree that most people here seem to be too critical. I also believe most people are use to seeing companies with as much money choose great desktop designers such as Pixtudio for their desktop themes. After the Zippo theme, we are all pretty spoiled. If you don't need the object, you can just turn it off. It's a great utility to have though. I wish there were more such utilities. If you need some great information, just turn on a DX object. <im
Yes, it is a very interesting story. I've heard about it. It was nice to see what it is like there. Thanks for sharing it.
I am horrible at windows blindsI tried using skin studio but failed miserablyI have attempted using it to make a windowblind 6 times Don't try to create a windowblind all at once. Take your time. Get a theme in you head, and do one piece. The start button or the start menu is a good place to start. Then, just back off if you have too. The most i
When the time comes for thing like toolbar buttons and such I start to cringe. Don't you mean toolbar icons? Because, I feel the same way. And now there are animations too. Heck, six months ago, there were no toolbar icons to skin or shell animatio
Have you looked at yourself lately in the mirror with the lites out? Notice any glowing?!?

There are so many tweaks and tips for WinXP that I wouldn't know where to begin. But, there comes a time when you just can't add anymore objects to your desktop no matter how fast your CPU is or how much Ram you have. Then, there are programs that will constantly chew up Ram. It's sort of like making more money. The more money you make the more you spend. Likewise, the more Ram you have, the more you'll use. The solution is maybe to get more Ram. But, you must see the Dilemma.
It looks like its time for a....................a...............................a......GROUP HUG!!!
If you notice, I cleverly said, "Spelling correction" not "Grammatical correction"
