Sorry for the late reply, and thread necro, but this doesn't solve my problem. I can change the PORTRAIT to that of the female character, but when I open up the screen, it's not her that's bobbing her head around: it's Netro Mancer. I don't know how this happened-- the only thing I ever did was click the "Edit" button before a round--and lo and behold, bye, bye Elys. Hello, Netro.
When I open the Diplomacy screen with the Altarians, I see the male leader. I personally like the female one better, but I can't change it back. How do I do so (detailed instructions, please)?
I was fiddling with the game a bit, clicking around, checking out the various civilizations and their abilities, and messing with their portraits. Now, I'm having a bit of a problem. This may sound frivolous, but I can't figure out how to change their portraits back! I kind of like the female Altarian better than the male one, and the male human better than the female one, but now all I can see on the diplomacy screens is the male Altarian and female human. Help!
