This looks like a fun mod, however it's a bit clunky. (too many items able to be bought etc. and numbers on icons as they improve, should be the other way around ^^) If you somehow managed to make it random what items were available in the shop (max 5 etc.) it would be more interesting, especially as there would be some luck involved, and the more shops, the more possibilities. You could maybe mod it into the Blood abilities, try seeing if you can use Male etc. as a prereq in a gamemodifier. Then you could make two different gamemodifiers with prereqs for male/female in all the blood abilities, and it would work like you want. Edit: Don't think that will work inside the gamemodifier. Try making 2 spells instead that autocast at battle with different gender prereqs if you can make it work using the noble legacy code

Sounds awesome. Try getting some Attack vs Summon command in. (do not count summon attacks for more than 3 turns etc. and only pick summon attacks with better than 3x attack value) I think that should work fine for scaling as weapons get better. Then you could even add "summoner weapons" for tresholds, and make AI use them with mage path. What I mean, is that we need more items obviously, and the game will be more awesome ;)

It won't. Just as doing Lethal warrior path won't improve your staff damage on your hero. The only things increasing pure elemental damage, is other elemental damage ;) (weapons with elemental and physical damage, will get both)

Yeah usually. Archers take to long to get, and you need some ranged as soon as possible. Enchantment gives both good melee hammers, staves, and is on the path to +2 magic damage trinkets. The hard part is getting mounts up at the same time as Glyph stones for the end-game units (the above mentioned elite army). Sometimes that doesn't work so you have to make due with some mages on foot to defend ;) This is the "backbone" of your army, with very little mana spent, you can compensat

He is a software guy afaik, this could very well be a hardware issue, making it work better on low-end computers etc. Probably nothing wrong with the code, which is why he is "stubborn", but this should help him understand I think. ;)

The English queen (or her representative) fired the entire australian parliament in 1975 for a similar situation. They have not shut down since ;) It's a valid point to discuss if the US should have something similar in place for situations like this. Well it is a tad bit harder then. Try making a new .xml file in your modsfolder and just copy the stuff you want to edit (not the whole file). Remove the tags from your new file, and there should not be 2 messages. Editing the old one is harder. Worst case you have to remove the old ability to make that work, and make a new duplicate yourself. Just post a specific problem when you get there, and we can help again.

Just 3-4x? And just "tech well above your level"? I fight Champion's armored troops with lightning hammers and the first round of mage staffs. :P You can do that as well. You just can't waste any tech for stuff you do not need. Cut off the excess fat! ^^

If you don't intend to create a mod and share it, just edit the file without creating a copy. If you delete it later and get steam to check local files it will be replaced again with the normal file.
