Something I miss... the forum navigation links at the bottom, like they are at the top. I have to scroll all the way back to the top to move back out of the thread.

vikram at the top of the post is a button labeled Tools. Clicking it brings up a menu where you can add to watch.

You probably just have to rename your modified ones, and have a modified and an original version.

It worked. Mostly. When trying to run Windows Update it seemed to hang, so I ran the downloaded update. It still took about 5 or 6 minutes for the update to install, but it worked Thanks yraq!

don't laugh but I'm still using the integrated intel graphics, so catalyst isn't an issue. about to attempt the fix, will let you know how it goes

Automatic Updates keeps failing to install Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 2.0 (KB917283). I also downloaded it from the microsoft website and ran it. The progress meter gets about halfway through then the window just disappears. Anyone else having this problem?
