I don't think there's any misunderstanding, when Paul says weird stuff he usually means it. Then there's some other disturbing stuff like his newsletters and his acceptance and refusal to return 500 bucks donated to him by the racist website Stormfront. He claimed it would be "pandering" to return the money while most people contend it would simply have been the right thing. Something like that is enough to injure a candidate fatally especially when a guy like Obama and his billio

Mostly the same forces who brought the Republican party brilliant candidates like Sharron Angle and Christine "I'm not a witch" O'Donnell. I'm not quite sure why Pailn and others want to run a guy like Gingri
You’ve got Romney who I can’t even understand why he’s running in the first place as he doesn’t seem to be very passionate about anything.
I think Mitt entered with this belief that he was next in line and inevitable. In many of the debates he seemed like he was just trying to run out the clock. He might have nothing to worry about though as he seems to be the best the GOP has in the race at this point. I really wish Mitch Daniels were in it. It
Of the four still standing, I still like Newt the best.
There are lots of reasons why I would never vote for Newt and I could go down the line, but one reason is fairly obvious to anyone and hard to dispute. Take a good hard look at Newt and Caliste... they turn Barack Obama and the Democrats into the party of family values and that's unacceptable. I know Romneys Mormonism turns off lots of Christians an

One thing about Paul though, he says what he means and doesn't focus group it

It would have been unthinkable... no, unimaginable for Obama to help deliver much needed energy to the US and create thousands of well paying Union jobs. He was really in a rock and a hard place.

Wow, the people of South Carolina are an embarrassment. First, they vote for 2 terms of Lindsey Grahamnesty and now this. Newt Gingrich. I don't think I could muster a vote for Gingrich. His ethics violations, slimy personal behavior, and duplicitous nature, such as sitting on a love seat with Nancy Pelosi to sound the alarm for global warming and more recently attacking Mitt Romney with what could for all intents and purposes be an Obama attack ad against Bain Capital. Its too early to g

I don't know. A lot of people would like to see an internet without video clips on YouTube. Especially politicians who don't like their most embarrassing moments or policy flip flops a mouse click away. You'll all probably think differently if they arbitrarily start taking down big sites with claims of IP violations. I could be wrong.

I didn't say that I picked Romney simply because I thought he was inevitable, but because I actually thought he was the best bet, even though I believe its already decided. On the Dark horse thing, I might have said "never," but I also led into it with "usually" and that left me plenty of wiggle room. I'll tell you what, I'll bet you 10 bucks, (not 10,000), that Romney is the last man standing.
Nothing is inevitable or pointless simply because the pundits say so. I would just sit it out if Ron Paul were the candidate. He seems to be a true dove in the vain of Carter and Chamberlain and that's truly dangerous for security. At least Obama seems to understand that part of the job. Terrorists have been dropping like flies all over the world under Obama's watch and I'm sure that would end under Paul. That's the Presidents first responsibility and the first consideration for casting a vote, imo.

It would seem as though you support Huntsman, and you've also bought into this whole bogus class warfare argument.. I agree with you on one point, we do need a Governor this time around and not a lawmaker who generally hides in a legislative body where he basically gets away with doing nothing, or voting present like our current vacationer in chief Obama. All this seems somewhat pointless now as Romney is all but inevitable, especially with desperate Newt and Rick Perry self destructing a

I don't think its bad that Huntsman speaks Chinese... What I basically meant was that he is really no better than voting for Obama, imo. Huntsman speaks glowingly about Obama, worked for him, and seems to absolutely adore him. That's not really what I have in mind when I vote. As for your negative opinion on Romney, at least Romney has some real world dirt under his fingernails and some actual understanding about jobs and their creation, unlike Huntsman, Obama, Gingrich, and the rest

Well, the Republican primaries have been quite interesting and I've seen quite enough to fully decide who I'm voting for. Its easy to know who I can vote for by excluding all those I could never vote for, such as Newt Gingrich. All the Romney pac did was remind people who Gingrich was/is, and that was too much for Gingrich, so he came out bellyaching and feigning outrages of outrages on TV which only helped to hammer home the attack ads of Romney. Newt is a hypocritical, pompous, dupl

Its just the usual hypocrisy with a health dose of Alinsky agitation. I mean, they have their ultra liberal President and things have gone to hell in a handbasket under him. This cruel reality has thrust liberals into a complete state of denial and they are lashing out in anger. I also have friends and family who are on the wrong side on this issue. My own dad has FOX news removed from his television menu and if he even hears about it he will break out into hives. People of left wing persuasi

I'm not all that sure when exactly I stopped believing in god... Probably somewhere in between the Easter Bunny and Santa and the tooth fairy. Really, I don't want to upset people so I don't talk about it, but religion serves Clergy and Clergy only. I have to laugh when the Pope drives through some third world sewer where the water isn't fit for animals to drink and all the peasants drop to their knees kissing the gold hubcaps of the Mercedes Popemobile. Its really ironic and

Yeah, but it's not the utter failure of the policy which is simply creating hostile Islamic theocracies in the model of Iran that gets to me as much as the joy liberals seem to be expressing with the violence on the ground. I thought this kind of thing allegedly turned them off. Try to imagine Bush engineering the same kind of outcome in Libya, and in the aftermath Condi Rice said something like "we came, we saw, he died" . Liberals on MSNBC would certainly say it was a violation

I have to admit I've been a bit baffled by liberals these days. On the one hand, they claimed to be horrified by Adolf Hitler's (Bush's) creation of a prison facility in Cuba called Gitmo, and for the "torture" of Khalid Sheik Muhammad, the mastermind of 911. They called Bush "the worlds greatest terrorist" for wars against Saddam Hussein and The Taliban. Now, they are suddenly filled with glee over the savage torture and execution of the Qaddafi's. They will say that it wasn&

This is the dumbest protest I've ever seen. People on Wall street don't make laws or create policies and if they do need to hire anyone down there I doubt they will pick anyone from that crowd.
